Lagoon Poolside Condo Just a Stone's Throw from White Beaches: Caribe Corner

Was nice having a whole house to ourselves. Pool was nice. Negatives were mostly maintenence things. Rough nails in the upstairs patio but just had to be careful. Overall was a very nice stay. Would totally recommend the purple parrot and our particular house for sure

This was our 3rd time staying at the Purple Parrot Resort and our 2nd time staying at Caribe Corner. The location of this unit is AMAZING which is why we keep coming back. It could easily be the best unit in the resort IF they would take the time to update the inside. The furnishings are really outdated and cheap. Tons of random old decor pillows and that poor aqua blanket that was literally the same one from a few years ago lol. You will definitely want to bring your own pillows and blankets, and this time, I even brought a few rugs because the living space doesn't have an area rug so the floor gets cold and a lot of sand everywhere. It is stocked with the very basics - a few rolls of toilet paper, a few trash bags, paper towels, salt & pepper, dishwasher tablets, and that's about it. You will need to bring extra paper towels, laundry detergent, coffee filters, coffee, and trash bags if you are there longer than a couple of days. The front porch is one of my favorite features because you can sit outside and enjoy the live music or watch the kiddos play in the sand area. The hosts communicate super well and even allowed us to check in an hour earlier which was great. The check out process is easy as well. Overall, we would love to stay there again and I really hope they update the inside to make the stay more enjoyable for everyone.

Beautiful spacious condo right in front of the pool. Clean , perfect fory little family get away .very close to the beach ! The pool was amazing the kids loved it . Only I would say is the porch off the master bedroom needs to have some nails hammered back down . I hurt the bottom of my foot by steeping on one. But other than that it's was perfect

Location was great, the unit was good but a few minor details and one big detail should be taken care of. TV’s did not work properly, lights were flickering( new light bulbs are needed) the unit (main door) is right in front of the pool, it’s a glass door and there are no blinds on the door, only a white thin sheer ( see thru) so NO privacy at all ! The green couch should desperately be replaced ! Caution ! Steep stairs to the upper level where the bedrooms are. Not suited for older people with knee problems…

The property was nice but the kitchen floor was dirty we had to clean it. We enjoy are stay the pool was nice but due to the bar being open late there was a groups of kids that sneaked in used the hot tub after hours. The resort needs install lighting around the hot tube to stop people from using it after hours. Currently you cannot see if anyone is in the hot tub after dark can only tell if there is noise in that area.

I would’ve given a 5 star rating except for the condo itself. The condo is a perfect location, steps from the pool but the porch needs repair, could be a falling hazard, broken board, exposed nails, raised board, the porch furniture was broken, and weathered very bad, the coffee pot did not work, the tray in the microwave didn’t rotate, the washer had a horrible smell, the carpeted stairs had old stains, large spills that were easily removed, because I DID buy a can of carpet cleaner and cleaned them, the condo is very cluttered, too many pillows on the beds and couch, too many paintings hanging on the walls that were ‘for sale’ , large rag rugs that were a tripping hazard, trim coming off kitchen counter, stacked washer and dryer, the dryer sat so high I had to stand on a chair to reach control buttons, we made a reservation to return next winter and had a few condos to choose from, all were updated and much nicer than caribe corner 3, otherwise we’re excited to go back next year
