Amazing room. Great location. Everything one would need for a short or extended stay.

Great communication from the host, great location

We had to end our planned stay early and the host was able to refund the remainder of our stay!

Wonderful place. Swimming pool, and beach amazing. The floors were a bit dirty, making our feet black right away. Dishes were dusty or dirty out of cabinets. The road very busy and loud from our condo. Regardless of minor issues, we highly recommend it.

No bath mat. Closet was stuffed.. No room for hanging clothes. Bureau in the closet was very dusty. The dish rack did not have a bottom so we bought a tinfoil pan to put under it.Foor was very dusty like it wasn't cleaned right before we got there.Curtains also felt dusty. Parking was good. Sofa was placed with the side of it blocking the AC. Bed was very comfortable even if you had to climb up to get on it. Overall we enjoyed it. If we ever come back to Kihei we would come back there but would probably look at another unit.

It was smaller than I thought it would be. The couch was not located as shown on the picture and was outdated. Water pressure was good. Shower was good. Pool and hot tube were great. BBQ's were down for maintenance.

Taking the beach chairs across the street to watch the whales in the morning was a highlight of the trip.

We had a lovely stay in Kihei and toured the rest of the island from there. A somewhat dated but clean and comfortable efficency condo. They stocked it with some beach gear (towels, folding chairs, mini cooler, boogie board) which was great. We had a great time!board) which was wonderful.

The location is very handy to central Kihei and has a lovely beach right across the street, complete with turtles who come to spend the night every evening! The staff were obliging and helpful when we asked about options for amenities post-checkout.

The rental was well furnished though could do with updating its towels. The main discomforts were outside of the control of management, like neighbors smoking (even though it was posted everywhere that smoking was prohibited outside of designated areas) or traffic being loud since the lanai looks over the main road in Kihei. Again not a bad place but some things to keep in mind.

Reviewer Comments: #109 in Kihei Bay Surf was a nice, clean studio in a convenient location across the street from the Humpback Whale Foundation. Studio was well clean and exactly as shown. It is a ground floor studio and faces South Kiheo street so traffic noise is a bit loud but not too concerning. Pool and hot tub very nice with a bbq area as well. Studio was perfect for two people and could accomodate a small family (3) if needed. I would recommend this studio in Kihei but you do need a car to get to shopping, restaurants, other beaches and airport.

The location of the property was just perfect for what me and my family were looking for. The whole week we had absolutely loved the location. Right across from the beach where we could enjoy early mornings and evenings with our toddler. My only complaint is the hot water running out quickly between myself my husband and our daughter we had to wait at least 15-20 minutes before getting more hot water so the next person could shower. Other than that we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely come back again.

It was very convenient and nice and clean. Very good management too. I had little issues and responded very shortly. Thank you.

Overall solid property, place was clean enough however there were a handful of small things to take the star off. (Dead bugs in picture frames, mold in bathroom, very dusty curtains, questionable towels, etc). The location is solid if you have a car, however walkabilty is iffy in that side of Kihei. And the WiFi was spotty at times. But overall, pleased with the room for the price.

Very comfortable, and well equipped. I would suggest a fan for the bathroom, but other than that things were great. Location across from Sandy Beach where sea turtles come in every night at sunset was amazing. Nice pool and hot tub. Affordable rates. I would stay there again.

The place was very clean and had a cozy, homey feel to it while still feeling like you are away from home! Great location, cannot stress this enough! Right across from the beach and many Kihei shops and restaurants were SO close.

The on site laundry has an online option so we did not need coins. We did not have to check in at an office. When we got to the unit at check in time we had emailed instructions on what to do and expect. There are beach towels to use, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, cooler...my mind was at ease as everything was already there to use. The kitchen worked well for our cooking. It has a coffee maker and toaster so we never had to buy breakfast as we bought groceries for the week to save money. At night it was quiet. I do not recall hearing any other tenants moving around upstairs or loud music. The traffic was not that loud either. I highly recommend this unit.

Across the street from a private beach

We enjoyed our stay and the place was perfect. However, we did run into some parking issues. The first 2 nights we were able to park in front of the unit. The rest of the time we were pushed out by visitors to other tenants. I believe assigned parking would make a big difference in making sure others don’t experience the same thing.
