Kapalua Golf Villa 15P78 By Parrish Maui - AC close to pool

Great Condo in a great location, near golf and beaches.

Host contacted us a couple weeks before our arrival to share the AC was not working. They indicated they were fixing the issue, but worse case scenario was that the “ocean” breeze would keep the condo cool. When we arrived 3 doors/window were taped shut to accommodate portable AC units. Both bedrooms only operable door and window to the outside was taped shut and were unable to be opened. The AC units and ceiling fans were incredibly loud, which made getting a good nights sleep difficult (and impossible for our daughter). The condo was either incredibly loud and/or uncomfortably warm for the duration of the stay. The fact that all doors/windows in each bedroom was taped shut is a fire hazard and should not be allowed. I had to cut open the tape in the 2nd bedroom to ensure that our children would be able to use the exit in case of emergency. There was no indication that the property management was attempted to repair the AC unit. Management would respond to questions, but there was no attempt to do anything more. The listing advertises the condo as 1800 sq ft. It felt much smaller. The location was nice, but that was the only thing the condo has going for it.

Our stay was lovely. We felt very much at home. Everything we needed was readily handy. Thank you.

We enjoyed and had fun the 8 days we were there. Went to Sea House for breakfast every day. Ate lunch mostly in the unit. And went out to dinner most nights. Went to beach. Went to pool. Shopped at Whalers Village. My husband and brother-in-law and son golfed. I had my two sisters in another villa. And my only brother owns a unit . And they were all there! I am disabled so they pushed me around in a wheelchair. Outside. And we spent a lot of time with them ! You have a beautiful unit!

The experience of renting this villa through Parrish Maui was first class throughout. Great location and convenience to Kapalua amenities. Everything within the villa was well adorned and ready for our week long stay. Golf course views and lanai were outstanding. We would definitely rent again with Parrish Maui.

We have stayed at this property several times. Golf lovers dream location. Walking distance to the beach. We will stay again.

If you’re looking for a quiet place with gentle scenery that is close to some of the best beaches on Maui, stay here. This was a very nice unit for me and my wife and our two children (17 & 20). It was well-stocked with all of the expected amenities - and the use of the shuttle to/from the local beaches was perfect! I should note that we have stayed at four different places on Maui - 3 in Kihei and this place in Kapalua in 2021. We returned just yesterday from a stay in Kihei. This place in Kapalua has been the best all-around by far.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at various villa's on the Kapalua golf course. This was similar to the other ones we have stayed in. The setting is beautiful and conveniently located for access to Flemming beach and Slaughterhouse beach is nearby. We like to get up in the morning and do a 4 mile loop up through the treelined road to the administration buildings and then down along the beach and the boardwalk.The kitchen is well stocked with all needed gadgets - there is a mismatch of silverware and plates if that bothers you. And most importantly the unit was clean. There were not as many beach supplies as other units we have stayed in. We have 5 in our family and the villa only had bedding for 4 so we called and they promptly sent around the extra bedding.We had a few complaints - The TV in the living room has horrible sound - everything is muffled and so our family had to pack into one of the bedrooms to watch a movie together. I contacted the customer care department but they said that is the way it is and didn't seem to inclined to address the issue. The master bedroom has very shear blinds and so the room is very light at night. The gates to the pools do not open with the fobs so we had to use the handle of a spoon to insert through and lift the handle (the benefit of this is that other guests couldn't get into the pool either so we had it to ourselves).The remote control for the HVAC in the main unit needs a new battery and in order for it to communicate with the system, I had to stand on the end table and hold the remote next to the receiver.During our stay the rods for the towel racks in both bathrooms fell off. This could have been prevented if the maintenance staff would tighten the screws when they notice a loose rod.The villa is based on the ground floor and the villa upstairs is also a rental - during our stay, 2 different family's with young children stayed above us and beginning at 7 each morning it sounded as if there was a herd

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The beds were comfortable, lots of towel provided, lovely view, and it's within a quick walk of Kapalua Bay Beach. The AC wasn't working the first night we arrived, but the property management was very responsive and had maintenance out to fix it within an hour of calling.
