Wonderful stay! The views were outstanding!

This is an incredible property and location. Everything is comfortable and spacious, clean and beautiful. I’d definitely stay here again. Love being away from resort “traffic”, right at the beach and a great hiking trail to cliffs and snorkeling.

Loved the property and that it was in a gated area with access to a semi-private beach. We really loved the beach here above all others and spent a lot of time on it. The views are fantastic - especially from the upstairs master. We'd absolutely stay here again. My only criticism is the additional exit in the downstairs bedroom. We were traveling with a toddler and had to give him the upstairs BR with the majestic ocean views because of the second exit in the downstairs BR that led directly to the parking lot. A higher, additional manual locking mechanism on this door could have mitigated the issue.

This was our second time staying in the Villa. We loved it so much the first time, we went back! The view is awesome topped off with great sunrises and sunsets. We will be back again!

The upstairs toilet never worked but that was minimal and easy to deal with given there are 2 other bathrooms in the unit. It was very clean, well kept and the views were stunning. Safe gated community and quiet except for the sounds of the memorization crashing ocean waves. I would absolutely stay here again! This was our first trip to Hawaii, and would have planned more in advance next time. Everything takes longer here so if you think a week or two would be plenty of notice, double it and you might be able to do what you want and eat at the restaurants you prefer.

Our stay was absolutely sublime. Would recommend without hesitation. Also would love to come back to this specific villa during the height of whale season because I imagine the whale-watching would be nothing less than epic from this villa!My only recommendations for the owners would be to please update the kitchen appliances (the microwave did not work and the stovetop was wildly unpredictable with the burners cooling and heating for no apparent reason). But even this was a very minor issue since we were able to work around these issues. I would also recommend that the cabinets get wiped down more frequently as they were a bit unclean beneath the handles (in the cleaners defense, it is hard to see because of the dark color of the cabinets but really should be wiped down after each stay regardless), but again, it didn't take away from our enjoyment in the property.

The stove has no markings on the dials, making it very hard to know at what temperature you are cooking, especially if you are not used to electric stoves. I could not find any potholders, tongs or spatulas.

I have stayed at the Kapalua Villas over many years. This unit by far is the nicest of all. I can’t wait to return.
