Your island paradise awaits you and your family at this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo located in beautiful sunny South Maui in Kihei at the KAMAOLE SANDS resort. Situated on the top floor of the satellite 4 building, unit 4-401 offers guests tantalizing views of the Pacific Ocean, as well as the rugged peaks of the East Maui Mountains.

Superior comfort abounds in this 1484 square foot condo with a master suite featuring a king bed, as well as an en suite bathroom, with spacious shower and double vanity. On the opposite side of the condo, a second bedroom features a queen bed and is steps away from an equally impressive guest bathroom. Up the carpeted staircase, you ll find your third guest sleeping space -- a roomy loft with two XL-twin beds. The loft is equipped with a flat-screen television, a BluRay player, in addition to an en suite bathroom with shower/tub combination.

Unit 4-401 has a split zone air-conditioning system, comfortably cooling all rooms, including upstairs loft. The living room includes a sofa and love seat and has a 65” flat screen LED TV with cable and BluRay player. There is wireless, high-speed Internet.

Directly across from Kamaole Sands Resort is Kamaole Beach III, a beautiful white-sand beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling, where you re sure to see whales in the winter, and gorgeous sea turtles year round. The spacious lawn fills up each evening with travelers hoping to catch one of the frequently stunning sunsets. For your use, we provide two beach chairs, beach towels and a large beach umbrella.

The Kamaole Sands complex also offers several amenities: pool, hot tub, family hot tub, and children s wading pool, fitness facilities, elevators, on-site activities guide, nice and clean propane grills and multiple tennis courts. Wednesday pool parties are just a few of the park amenities that put this resort a cut above the rest! Kamaole Sands also features an equipment rental shop near the pool area, renting snorkels, boogie boards, and other beach equipment for guest use.

This unit has 2 private parking stalls (free of charge and right next to the elevator).

Kamaole Sands charges a one-time fee of $40 + HI GET and $80 + HI GET for 35 days or more payable to the resort. If guest does not register upon arrival, $100 will be subtracted from your damage deposit refund.

Tips
Clothes Dryer
The sensors in the clothes dryer will often times indicate that your clothes are dry when they are still very damp. For best results, put the dryer on the timer mode and be sure to do the maximum amount of time -- 60 minutes on high. The condo has an electric dryer and doesn’t get as hot as gas dryers. To make sure your clothes get dry in a timely fashion, keep your dryer loads small to medium in size.

Washing Machine
After using the washer, please leave the washer door open for 12 to 24 hours to ensure the washer dries completely. Front loading washers have a seal to ensure no water leakages, but this means they never completely dry, which can then cause mildew. Thank you so much for your help.

Air Conditioner Exhaust on Lanai
Unfortunately, the air conditioner compressor sits in the lanai closet. When the air conditioner is on, hot air blows out onto the lanai. If you choose to eat out on the lanai, I recommend you turn off the air conditioner units in each room. The compressor will then not blow hot air. I know this isn’t very convenient, but unfortunately, due to the design of the condo complex, it’s something we have to put up with.

AC Unit Settings
Please keep all of the AC units at 72 degrees – no lower than 70 degrees. The units run all year round and keeping them at this setting ensures they don’t over heat.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
* VRBO Moderate Cancellation Policy: Guest who cancels at least 30 days before check-in will receive 100% of the amount they've paid. If Guest cancels between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. After 14 days, guest will not receive a refund.

    This was a perfect place to stay with my 2 girlfriends. The beds and the pillows where great! Hot water with great pressure another plus! Only negative was no cooking condiments/spices like I have had with other vacation rentals. Only salt and pepper :(

    During this stay, we opted for a larger 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit to accommodate our family of 6. This unit was the perfect fit. It gave us the option to stay all together but was still spacious enough to enjoy some privacy and quiet time when needed. It was located on the 4th floor of building 4, with beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets from the front lanai, and breathtaking views of the mountains from the rear. 2 parking spots was a bonus, directly at the entrance to the elevator. Easy access! The owner of the unit was attentive and responsive with any questions or needs we had. This condo is perfect for larger groups or a family get-a-way. Much appreciated!

    This property was ideal for our group of two adult couples and two children and would also be wonderful for three couples! We were very close to exceptional beaches and restaurants, with easy access to the Highway, making travel between towns quick and convenient. This unit is on the top corner of a building, so it’s quiet and has a nice view of the sunset from the lanai. The pool area was never crowded and always had lots of chairs available to choose from! The tennis courts were lovely and well-maintained. There was also a nice little library of books available in the unit, which was an added bonus. Rebecca was incredibly responsive and checked in several times throughout our trip to see if we needed anything or had questions. She made the logistics of the trip a breeze. 11/10 would stay again!
