Kamaole Sands #1-105 Renovated Ground Floor Unit, Partial Oceanview, A/C!

Property is well maintained, pool is nice, there was a bonus toddler wading pool, game area. Beautiful grounds with wild chickens. The unit was clean and stocked well. Being a bottom floor kept things cool.

The ac so noisy, the pull out bed isn’t comfortable so my kid sleep in blow up mattress, in the middle of the night she felt something crawling in her face the next morning I found the centerpiece in the kitchen. I took the pictures it so big. I think this place little pricey

Kihei has your quintessential Hawaii vibe with lots of shops & restaurants. Everything is walking distance from the condo or a very quick drive. This condo was recently updated and had everything we needed for a week at the beach (would recommend they provide a wagon, but it’s not necessary). Clean, equipped, two FULL bathrooms!

Bare Min. Like a retro stay in the early 90’s. Its not the Bellagio in Las Vegas but more of a circus circus stay. Under the pull out sofa there was crumbs . The pans that were available to use still had food residue on them. In the master bathroom, it was literally like a run down Motel 6Layout. Floor Tiles missing in the walk in shower. This unit just needs more TLC all over. From the bedroom to both bathrooms. The bed sheets have been around the block several times.

Condo was very clean, updated and very well decorated. Loved the ground floor and so close to the beach access. I have stayed at more than 6 different units in this same complex and this was my favorite, enough so to write my first review.

It was the perfect location, just a short walk across the street to the beach!

Kamaole Sands is an amazing place to stay. So close to a great beach and easy access to shopping. This condo was in a great location and we loved having a ground floor unit so we could come and go off our lanai. The unit was clean and had plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sand toys. Everything worked well and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Reviewer Comments: Loved the location of this unit as it is close to the beach and outdoor shower, away from the noise of the pool, and I liked having sun on the large lanai so our towels dried. The bed is wonderful!! Didn’t have much as far as kitchen spices etc so be prepared if you like to cook. Unit also badly needs a broom and dustbin as we had to borrow one from our parents unit. We would stay here again for sure!

We have rented in buildings #7, #10 and #1numerous times. As much as we love Kamaole Sands and the location off building #1, we were rather disappointed this time. We were there in April 2023. We reviewed the condo at that time and made several suggestions such as new bedding, new towels of all sorts, and possibly a new mattress. The second bathroom still has mold and needs a deep clean. Nothing has changed in 18 months. I understand it is up to the condo owners, but with how much the rents have increased I don’t think it is too much to ask. We would love to come back to Kamaole Sands since it not to unit 1-105 or 7-304 unless some improvements are made. Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Great beach location with everything you need. This unit has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Awesome communication with the owner. We would stay here again!!

Location for us was the best! Right across the beach was a daily welcome, saw turtles swimming by. Great body surfing! Ground at our place were immaculate and beautiful, convenient location and just perfect for us.
