Kailani Kona- Ocean view, top floor Downtwn w pool

Loved it!

We weren’t sure what kind of view we would get with this condo – but WOW!  We were very impressed.  The condo is clean, spacious, and decorated appropriately but felt very cozy.  There was lots of paper towel, toilet paper, tin foil, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and laundry detergent.  The air conditioner worked AMAZING, and when the weather was cooler it was also nice to have windows open as the air flows through the condo nicely.  Parking is right outside below the condo which was perfect, and the garbage/recycling was conveniently located just a few steps from the parking spot.  The BBQs are propane – despite what we read in the instructions (it said we needed charcoal??)  We enjoyed the pool a few times as it was hardly ever occupied but in a lovely spot – although for a big complex like this it seems odd there aren’t more loungers around the pool. For beach goers, there are 4 beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and a few coolers and other items. Some nights were VERY quiet there (when the Coqui frogs weren’t as active), so you could hear people talking/coughing in other units…but this was rare.  The location of this condo is PERFECT.  We have stayed in the area before, and this condo is off the main road but close enough to walk for happy hours, food, coffee, and to Honl’s beach (there is a staircase that goes down right beside the hostel). Possible improvements:  new bath towels, wine glasses, some steak knives, a new coffee maker. Loved the place would stay again

Host was available for questions. Place had all the amenities you could need and was well maintained

The host was great at communication. We enjoyed the location a nice easy walk to everything. The in suite laundry and full kitchen was perfect for our needs. Bed was comfy.

Close to everything touristy, but quiet and on the top floor with a view. Very pretty, clean, comfortable space. Don't book this if you don’t want to carry your suitcase up stairs, though the parking spot is just next to the sidewalk. I think this is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a condo in Kona within walking distance of Ali’i drive.

This was a great place for the price range and age. The condo has been updated nicely and has everything you need. We stayed there comfortably for 8 nights - 9 full days and never had an issue. The 2 sets of stairs were fine and a good balance for the over indulgences of the week ;). The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Well within walking distance to the beach and downtown for dinner. The ocean view from the dining area was so beautiful and the birds chirping every morning was so charming. This location had great value for the price. Could you pay more, sure... but you really don't need to. We'd stay here again :)

My husband and I felt that this condo had a very comfortable (homey) feel to it. The location was perfect for us as we had activities planned to the north and south. We kept the air off and the windows open which was so nice! We loved that we had an assigned parking spot which was located right below the unit. We would stay here again.Please keep in mind there are no elevators and this unit is on the third floor.

My stay at Kailani Kona exceeded expectations! The ocean view from the top floor was absolutely stunning and made every morning and evening feel magical. The location in downtown Kona was incredibly convenient, with shops, restaurants, and the waterfront all within walking distance.The pool was a peaceful retreat, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. The space itself was well-maintained, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.If you’re looking for a combination of gorgeous views, prime location, and a touch of luxury, this is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to come come back!

This condo is cute, convenient and well-appointed. They include everything you need for your stay- Beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, boogie boards. The kitchen is also well stocked. It was easy to communicate with management - Laura was wonderful to work with! Excellent location. We Just walked into town.
