Guest Access:

You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.



The Neighborhood:

Poipu Kai is a 70-acre resort community in Poipu. The community consists of seven condo developments with their own swimming pools, an 8-court Poipu Kai Tennis Club, a community pool and hot tub, and the beautiful Green Belt, garden paths connecting the areas of the resort. The resort is between the Hyatt and Shipwreck`s Beach to Brennecke`s and Poipu beaches. Restaurants to walk to are the Grand Hyatt Kauai, the Poipu Bay Golf Course, Kalapaki Joe`s, and Brennecke`s Restaurant.



Getting Around:

When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.



Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

    The condo was updated, well appointed, clean, and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The location was great. Short walk to Poipu beach, and easy access to shops and restaurants. We appreciated the fact that it was in a peaceful setting and enjoyed the patio and BBQ’s. Pools were very quiet and the access to the Athletic Club was a bonus. Great W/D. The rental staff was amazing and responded quickly to answer our questions. Highly recommend this condo.     Lovely stay at Kahala 412! Unit was clean and offered everything we needed. Cannot beat the location! Super convenient to everything. The only issue I personally had was the bed was a little hard for my taste, but that’s a personal preference. Would definitely recommend!

    The unit is nicely equipped overall and is in the Poipu Kai resort. It is literally a 4 minutes walk to the beach or a quick drive. No carpets was a big plus to us. Mgmt company was very responsive. Two downsides are bed was a little hard for our taste and the bedroom is in Poipu Rd which was noisier than we anticipated. We did not use the in room air conditioning, so that might cut down on road noise. We enjoyed our stay.

    We really enjoyed this property and location. We usually rent houses but couldn’t find one for this trip in our price range so opted for a condo. The location is great and the condo is nice. The only complaint is that we heard the neighbors walking quite loudly above. Not very sound proof floors. Otherwise it was great.

    Clean -nice pool-in the middle where you can travel easily to either side of island -we did carry extra change of clothes so we didn’t have to travel back and forth. Nice walk to beach-liked the athletic club-all pots and pans needed-washer/dryer was perfect-hanging clothes line worked great in doors-warm in the living room-used all fans and used great working AC unit in bedroom. Comfortable inside and out-didn’t care for Joes had a great dinner at merrimans. Overall didn’t want to keave.

    Property was as expected. Location was great. It was clean and roomy. I was surprised at how comfortable the couch bed was!! Short walking distance to the beach and short driving distance to other places as well. Recommend trying Puka Dogs and Da Crack Mexican Grinds which are both nearby. My son loved using the boogie board and it was nice to have beach chairs and wagon for use. Would definately stay here again!

    We loved staying at our Kahala unit! It was perfect for everything we wanted--easy beach access, a nice private outdoor space, full kitchen, convenient spot, and spacious updated condo. The place was nice & clean, the in-unit washer & dryer were very helpful, and there was no street noise (which we were concerned about). The living area was a little warmer than our kids are used to for sleeping (on the pull out couch bed) but the a/c unit in the bedroom and fans helped cool things off so it was fine. Hoping to return again soon!

    Everything was nice and roomy. We had difficulty with internet connection and had two days without much success getting connection for our phones. We had to go to Starbucks to check email and messages. Someone named Mark from Koloa Kai came on Saturday afternoon to fix problem with router.

    The condo was easy to find and very clean inside. It was the perfect size for 2 people. The lanai was comfortable and was put to good use. It wasnt too far from the ocean or the pool. If i were a complainer, I'd say the bed was too high! I needed the step stool to get into bed. Lol Would stay there again.
