Island Winds 821 Gulf Front Fall Special 20% off any res thru 10/31

We rented two condos and the 821 condo was well updated and very clean. The 1122 condo was very nice but I did have to clean it. It needs a bit of updating the sofa was broke in and definitely has been used but the location and very well equipped… as a whole couldn’t ask for a better experience and location. Rita was absolutely so accommodating thank you so much.

Condo was very clean. Bathrooms & kitchen were very well stocked-more than enough of everything to accommodate the 5 of us. We didn’t have key fobs, a blow up mattress and there was only 1 beach chair when we arrived on Saturday. It was also extremely hot in the condo. I called Rita (property manager) and she made sure we got everything we needed on Monday morning. She also called an HVAC company Monday morning, and it was fixed by Monday afternoon. The unit had frozen up, which is why it was so hot the first 2 days. However, it was still warm in the master bedroom & master bathroom even after the unit was fixed. For some reason, those 2 back rooms don’t cool down as much as the rest of the condo. Overall, we had a nice family vacation.

Trouble finding key upon check in. After that, property was well kept & close to everything. A good week!

First off, I would definitely stay here again if in the FMB area. I would definitely recommend this condo to others. Had a great week, with perfect weather! This was a very nice condo, the views were amazing! Very, very wide beach (nearly a block and a half to the waters edge) with amazing soft white sand the entire stretch. Great beach running, shells galore! Was happy to be out of the busy traffic filled far north end of FMB. Felt very safe here. Appreciated the secure measures that Island Winds has in place. Only complaint is that we were supposed to have a cabana with the rent we paid for the week?! We were told NO by the young people running the cabana/chair/umbrella rental. I was advised that that ended the end of April, and something about turtles and cabanas?! I was told that the owners of the Condos only pay the cabana rental from October through April. They refused to offer any alternative advising that they had had two other condo renters requesting the same. I was told that they checked with their boss regarding the issue. I wasn’t about to pay an additional $30 a day for two chairs, and an umbrella. We went out and bought an umbrella. We left it at the condo closet for the next renters to use. The one that was there had run it’s life expectancy as it disintegrated when we opened it. Thank you for the great accommodations! -Heather

Island Winds #821 was a great condo with a great view of the beach. Comfortable with recliners and reclining sofas. Kitchen well supplied with dishes, utensils, etc. Very clean throughout. All neighbors and residents were very friendly. Even the elevator was fast and never a problem. Best show was the sunset. Easy walk to restaurants etc. Agent was very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at Island Winds. The condo was outfitted well and clean! Would love to see the owners replace the chairs that they have put covers on in the living room and get a larger screen tv for the living room. It was a good stay!
