Situated directly on the beach, it is the 2nd complex when turning onto West Beach Boulevard. Our 1 BR/1 BA condo features a washer/dryer, WIFI, fitness room, gulf front pool & a separate children's pool, & can sleep up to 4 if make use of sleeper-sofa. This unit is an affordable, no frills, beachfront condo, ideally located in the heart of Gulf Shores, perfect for those looking to enjoy time on the beach without breaking the bank. Purchase parking passes onsite ($50).ONLY one pass is allowed.



The Space:

Unit 177 at Island Winds West is a gulf-front, 1-bedroom, 1-bath unit (516 square feet) featuring a well-equipped kitchen (a regular drip coffee maker), washer & dryer, WIFI, and a spacious balcony overlooking the beach. Ideally located on the 2nd level, the open living area has tile floors, a couch, a small table with seating for 2, plus 2 additional guests can sit at the bar. The bedroom features a flat-screen TV with carpet flooring. With a queen bed in the master and a queen-sized sofa-sleeper, unit 175 can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.

When you walk in the condo, you are in the bedroom. Through the small accordion door, there will be a bathroom on the left and a washer/ dryer on the right, followed by the kitchen past the bathroom, opening up to the living area.

Island Winds West is located immediately west of the of the Highway 59 and Beach Boulevard intersection. This area of Gulf Shores is commonly referred to as “West Beach” and is a popular, family-oriented area with numerous restaurants, shopping venues, beach activities, and entertainment all within walking distance. Island Winds is the closest condominium development to The Hangout and main public beach area in Gulf Shores making it the ideal spot for your next beach vacation. Complex amenities include beach-front pool, children’s pool, fitness room, and BBQ grill area.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entirety of the condo and all of it's amenities.



Getting Around:

Walking distance to many local attractions and dining options. Uber, Lyft and local taxi is available in our area.



Other Things to Note:

Parking pass is paid separate from the reservation at time of arrival for $50. ONLY ONE parking pass is allowed at the complex. If you have a second vehicle, we offer parking at our office, which is about 5 minutes from the complex, for $50.

    The location is absolutely the best for these weekend volleyball events, however this apartment in particular was outdated, we had to open the nightstand drawers with caution or else they would fall off, paint from the ceiling was falling, the barstools were old and unstable, the front door lock was not working properly throughout our stayed, we reported to the “manager” and they insinuated we didnt know how to use a keyless system.
