​Hurricane Update:

The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.

LIVING:
The main living room is a cool, comfortable coastal haven with tile floors, a plush sofa, a love seat, an armchair and ottoman and a natural wood coffee table.  Relax here below the ceiling fan and stream your favorite shows or movies on the 65” HD TV.  Enjoy conversations with loved ones or curl up with a good book.  This stylish, open-design living space boasts a soothing coastal color palette of soft blue, white, gray and neutrals with splashes of cobalt and aqua blue.
Sliding glass doors from the living room open to the balcony/lanai overlooking palm fronds and bay views.  The balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening cocktail in paradise amidst the fragrance of plumeria and salty breezes.

KITCHEN/DINING:
The bright new, fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream!  The kitchen’s elegant tray ceiling has recessed lighting, a single pendant chandelier illuminates the granite bar.  Prepare a tropical feast after a day at the beach.  Store your provisions in abundant custom cabinetry.  Gorgeous granite countertops offer plenty of space for meal prep.  Stainless steel appliances include a glass-top electric stove, oven, microwave, French door refrigerator with icemaker, dish washer and double basin sink.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cookware, utensils, cutlery, dishware, glassware, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a blender, a chef’s caliber knife block and more.  

The kitchen is flanked on one side with a sleek granite pass-through window bar at the kitchen and has stool seating for four.  The other side of the kitchen has a breakfast nook furnished with a round table with seating for four.  Maritime art featuring prints of marlin and maps of waterways adorn the walls.

The open design of the kitchen/dining area ensures that a chef is never isolated from the group.  This breakfast nook is a sublime spot to sip your morning cappuccino or fresh-squeezed citrus juice.  Or, sit at the breakfast bar and share a glass of wine with the chef during dinner prep.

Situated between the kitchen and living room is a hardwood dining table seating for six. Illuminated by a sleek, contemporary chandelier.  This dining room is beautifully updated with chair rails and ornamental trim.  Additionally, there’s outdoor, poolside picnic dining space available to you, as well as grills, perfect for grilling fresh caught seafood, steaks, burgers or veggie kabobs.  Gather your group for an outdoor BBQ!

BEDROOMS/BATHS:
Island Time has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.  These bedrooms have large windows with shades, plenty of natural light, luxurious mattresses and sumptuous bedding.

The king primary has luxury vinyl plank flooring, a ceiling fan with a lamp, matching night stands with reading lamps, a bureau with a large Smart TV and a chair and lamp.  Tropical décor and seascapes adorn the walls.  There’s a large closet and an ensuite bathroom with a large vanity, a well-lit mirror and a shower/tub combo.

The second bedroom is painted a vibrant sky blue and has one queen bed and one twin-over-twin bunk bed.  There’s a large bureau, a closet and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and bathtub combo.

Both bathrooms have plush towels, toiletries and hair dryers.  There’s a stackable washer/dryer in a closet off the kitchen.

 The Gulf Watch community offers a 35 ft x 15 Ft heated community pool set amidst tropical  landscaping. This large swimming pool will delight families, children, the very young and the young at heart. The pool deck has BBQ grills, lounge chairs, sun umbrellas and picnic space; it’s perfect for relaxing cookouts.  Sip margaritas poolside and listen to the music of tropical breezes rustling through palm fronds.

The free island trolley stop is a 3 minute walk from your doorstep.  Convenience to beaches, dining and great sea food is a highlight of Island Time.  Park your car (two covered parking spaces are provided) and explore the small, charming, historic island by foot, bicycle, golf cart or trolley or the Monkey Bus (island bus transportation).

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The Gulf Watch community, located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island is nestled perfectly between the Gulf of Mexico and Palma Sola Bay.  Enjoy breathtaking views of both from the comfort of your own balcony.  Watch the Cortez drawbridge in the morning as the sailboats pass through, or marvel at the ocean sunset every evening.

The condo is centrally located so you can enjoy a plethora of great restaurants, shops, Bridge Street and the dreamy white-sand beaches within walking distance.  Convenience is a key attribute of the island-themed condo.  Walk to 14 different restaurants!  The prime location of  Island Time offers an easy stroll to boutiques, entertainment, grocery markets and pharmacies.  Nearby are boat rentals, sunset cruises, as well as jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter and kayak rentals.

The white sand beaches of Anna Maria flaunt the prettiest seashells in Florida!  Anna Maria is also a top US location for rare seashells. Swim in the turquoise Gulf of Mexico, where dolphins play daily.  Bring your fishing gear to cast a line of the pier or rent boat and get out on deep water and fish.

The Shoppes of Paradise Bay Plaza is about 4 miles away and offers grocery shopping , restaurants, a Starbucks coffee shop and a Dollar Tree store.  The Sarasota/Bradenton airport in a 19 minute drive (10.1 miles) south.  Downtown Sarasota and St. Armands Circle are about a 30-minute drive south, which is a great place for watching a sunset from a rooftop bar and casual and upscale dining and shopping.

Longboat Key, Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island have fantastic restaurants and beachside activities such as boat rentals, sunset cruises, jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter and kayak rentals.  Don’t forget a trip to downtown Bradenton on the Manatee River with bars, dining and Village of the Arts.  The Village of the Arts is an eclectic live-work community of colorful historic cottages that house everything from award-winning restaurants to specialty shops, studios, healing arts, bakeries and Bradenton’s best art galleries.
