Stayed Jun 22, 2022It felt like home away from home. Everything was clean, plenty of kitchen supplies, AC works perfectly. I didn’t receive my check in instructions so I had to call to get them, but no big deal. Other than that check in and check out were super easy. Also the elevator broke while we were there and was fixed within hours so we only had to take the stairs once.

Stayed Jun 7, 2022From the moment we stepped into this unit we had problems. The fridge was leaking multiple times a day, fridge door handle broke off, many light switches in the unit do not work. The worst part of this stay is the unexpected “workers” who showed up unannounced while my mother and young daughter were at the unit. They claimed they needed to get in, but yet didn’t have a uniform or anything. When I called the property manager there were no records of any work needing to be done. I had to leave my sons baseball tourney and race back to the unit (20min) to be sure they were legit. My young daughter was very worried! The property manager advised to not allow them in as they had no record of this work. After about 30mins we finally got in touch with someone who let us know it was okay to let them in. What an ordeal and very scary to say the least. The location is a plus, but I would steer clear from this run down building.

Stayed Apr 2, 2022We chose this property for its location directly on the beach. It is an older building, but the condo was nicely updated, clean, well-equipped, and just what we needed. Within walking distance of various shops, restaurants, and Gulf State Park, with miles of paved trails--very well maintained trail system. We rented bikes and rode there for a few hours one day. Only a short drive to Orange Beach, with more shops and restaurants, Publix. As for the condo, kitchen is well stocked, but consumables like aluminum foil, plastic wrap/baggies, extra trash bags, dish detergent, etc need to be brought with. There are bath towels and wash cloths, but need to bring beach towels, etc. Washer and dryer was as great to have in the condo as well. Overall, it was just what we needed, and we would stay again in the future.

Stayed Jul 15, 2021We enjoyed our stay at Island Sunrise. It was a great location and the staff was wonderful. We can’t wait to visit Gulf Shores again!
