Stayed Oct 6, 2025Very relaxing, comfortable room. The unit wasn’t facing the ocean but still had a great view of it. Loved having beach chairs/umbrella included with the room. Was very easy to reserve an additional set for our group. Good location and very close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025This was a great area! Definitely would stay here again. Only complaint is the main bedroom got a little hot if the door was closed and a fan would have been nice.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024This property could use some sprucing up! Silverware was dirty looking, no hand soap in the unit, only 2 chairs on balcony, yet unit is advertised for 6 people. It was ok, but I would not book this particular unit again.

The condo unit is due for some love, BUT it was clean, on the beach, Beverly was most attentive to our needs. I always recommend Sugar Sands and will continue to use them for my trips to Ft Walton. They are local and personable and take care of your needs.

Stayed Jun 23, 2024Given my timing - this was one of the last 2 bedroom units available on Okaloosa Island for the dates I needed. The location was great, the beach is great, the area is surrounded by vacation rentals. Traffic is not bad on the street, but to get anywhere, prepare of tons of traffic. The one way off the island to grocery and food, without going all the way to Destin, is under heavy construction and it is SLOW. The unit is ok. It’s well equipped but the living room furniture is stained and old. Bathtubs are chipped and stained. There is roku in the smaller bedroom but not for the other TVs. Check in and check out was very easy. We were sent a door code a few days before and the list of things to do or don’t do before leaving was easy. The price was way too high for what we got, but like I said, almost everything else on the beach was booked. I paid twice what friends paid on the same beach for better, updated units that faced the beach. Everyone understands supply and demand, but I was gouged by the vacation rental company. We had a good time, but could have left there feeling better about what we paid for the unit rental.
