Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico
Located in the heart of the Taos Ski Valley, steps away from the base of the mountain and Lift 1. An amazing space tucked away within the beautiful Sangre De Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains. This condo features a beautiful mountain view towards the West. Styled eclectically like a German ski lodge with some heritage to Taos Ski Valley. Equipped with games for entertaining all age groups. Located on the 3rd floor, you hop on the elevator or take the stairs to the 2nd floor, hang a left down the hallway and are a few steps away from the beautiful base of the mountain, outdoor seating, bars and restaurants, ice skating or yard games (for summertime) and most importantly the great mountainous outdoors. Whether you are a skier, mountain biker, hiker or just want to sit and gaze at the mountains, you have arrived at the right place!
We are familiar with the Taos Ski Valley and this was the perfect location that allowed us to explore more of the local happenings and hit the trailheads. The apartment had everything we needed and more and is beautifully decorated. The bedroom was huge and the view from the living room window was great!
Just spent a night driving back from Utah. The place is immaculate. Looks like a great ski resort so we may be back to Taos one Mardi Gras.
Had a great stay with my family this summer. The condo is walking distance to the ski lift and has a surprisingly large kitchen and a good-sized bedroom. Not many people in the ski village during the summer so it was great to have the mountain bike trails all to myself.
This property was located in the Taos Valley Ski Village in Snake Dance Condominiums. It is a beautifully decorated condo with a wonderful kitchen and a very comfortable king size bed. We visited in June so unfortunately, there was not much going on in the Village. Many stores were closed and restaurants had limited hours of service, but the quietness and the peaceful, serene views of the mountains were just what we needed after leaving the Albuquerque area. We literally felt like we owned the whole Ski Village. My family and I would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to the Taos Ski Valley area...who knows, maybe next time it will be in the winter.
This was a really pleasant stay. The furnishing were comfortable and the location was really great - right in the village. The only issue we encountered was that the building itself was a little warm. They have hydronic heating, and I think the temperature can really only go up. Even after setting the thermostat lower and opening the windows to get fresh and cool air in, the temperature would creep back up to the upper 70s. This wasn't a huge problem, though - we just cracked the windows at night. I doubt if it's even a noticeable issue in the winter.
