Stayed Dec 22, 2024The view was nice. The kitchen cabinets smelled like mildew every time I open I felt like I was going to throw up. They needed to be gutted out and replaced, and the skirt on the bed was dirty. Other than that it was a nice view and the bed was comfortable. Just need a little more loving care to it.

Stayed Jan 12, 2023Having the property manager on site is great. I moved rooms to extend my stay and they were able to help me check in early and avoid a five hour gap. Also helpful when there were no coffee filters in the room. The room needs updating but that is shown and mentioned in the listing. I like the marina view and switching away from ocean view and the direct sun kept the room very comfortable without AC.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969When I needed an extended check out the management worked with me. The unit itself, although not one of “remodeled” ones is perhaps one the nicest in the Ilikai, and I have stayed in many units - nicest IF you like simplicity and I do. This is a bare floor, simple furniture, very basic unit. The tv is small, the furnishings minimal - all of which I liked but others might not. It is best suited to one person - or two if you are happy sharing the bed. This is a unit with no “extras” and that is precisely why I liked it and others may not. It is evidently the preferred unit of yogis and yoginis, so that may give you an idea of the minimalism of this unit. If you want an updated kitchen, this is not the unit for you. If you want clean, sparse and convenient, you may be as happy as I was to stay here. I would definitely rent it again.

Stayed Nov 16, 2019Since this is a basic place to just sleep, it would benefit from a more comfortable bed. It is also lacking drawer space or at least a luggage rack. The view of the marina and sunsets are really nice. It was also neat to be able to hear what was going on in the courtyard from the balcony.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Room was outdated compared to other units. Floor was dirty upon arrival. Poor communication for after hour needs, was a hassle in trying to get in touch with someone. Overall it was okay. Great views! The hotel next to the Ilikai was experiencing labor protests, shouting and yelling, was very annoying....
