HOT TUB ADVISORY:
Fraser Crossing HOT TUB is NOW OPEN
The penthouse condo was in a perfect location for ski in/out! Love that we could see the slopes from the back door and deck! (Wish the deck would have been a 4 season deck- but it was still amazing!) the views were incredible, the location was perfect, and the communication/response time with the owner was immediate!!! Loved having a garage to park I , and lockers to keep ski gear!! The free Lyft bus system was so convenient and helpful to get to the town of WP and Fraser. The local Safeway full size grocery store is an easy 10 minute drive, or even better -take the Lyft to get there if you don’t have a lot to carry! I would definitely recommend this place!!
This unit has a couple of things going for it, it's top floor and has pretty good views, however....... The unit is not being thouroughly cleaned and is in disrepair. The owners claim your stay is a priority but I never heard back after sending issues to them. Floors dirty under chairs, master toilet float valve installed incorrectly so you have to hold the handle to flush, two of three humidifiers did not work, food splatter on kitchen wall, ceiling and wifi router, light over master shower out, master has only one drawer to put clothes in, dirty sock in nightstand, dishwasher doesn't clean dishes, two fry pans in kitchen were so nasty they should be thrown away, the den chair and couch are missing their feet so they are too low to sit in, den tv mounted way to high, the washer has mold in it and the dryer makes noise like they belt is slipping, door strike plates missing on two bedroom doors, multiple wall patches have not been painted and new bathroom lights that leave the old paint exposed in areas, the master closet has an opening to the attic that has a cover but its not attached so it falls down and makes the master impossible to heat up, SAFETY ISSUES the rubber guard for the garbage disposal is gone and the disposal shakes violently. This should be fixed the right way, not by putting a drop in strainer over it. The bathroom wall heat unit has fallen down showing that the electrical connection was just poked through the wall, no junction box. Wish I could post pics!
We spent 3 nights on a ski vacation at this property. While the overall stay was enjoyable, the rental condo lacked somewhat. The bedroom layouts were awkward and smallish. There was no room to unpack as the dressers were filled with towels and other goods. The bedroom TV's were in strange locations (on a table across from the dresser). The living room fireplace did not work. No remote and the push button igniter did not work. The built-in bench at the front entrance was not sturdy, there for could not be used when changeing footwear. Alhtough, the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils, it was not well-organized and difficult to easily locate items. The bathrooms were fine, but little things like the hand soap dispenser was broken. The unit was clean-ish. Not sparkling. Also the second bedroom stated 2 Queen Beds. The were bunked beds, and maybe full sized. Nice to have the washer/dryer. NIce to have the garage, but the barcode scanner did not always work, luckily the help button at the gate was a lfesaver, as there was someone always on duty to remotely help. The jacuzzi pool access was nice.
Although the location was ideal for skiing at Winter Park the condo very much felt like an after thought for who ever owns it. That or they haven't stayed there in a long time as it was beginning to fall in to dis-repair. The master bath was unfinished underneath the sink, the sleep number bed in the master bedroom deflated during the night making for a uncomfortable night of sleeping, some of the light switches did not work, some of the dishes were dirty, the clothes washing machine was moldy, porch was disorganized, hand soap was not provided in kitchen or bathroom. Overall the description and price we paid did not match the experience and felt mis-leading. The communication with the management company was poor and they did not attempt to assist us during our stay. Not sure if this is the management companies fault or the owners have forgotten about it but we were very disappointed and will not be staying here again.
We have stayed at Fraser Crossing/founders point many times and love the location. The condo was great, especially the size of it. The only issue we had was the kitchen organization and lack of frying pans. Otherwise great place.
The apartment it’s very conveniently located just a couple minutes walk to the main lift, the gondola. The bedrooms are quite spacious, and could comfortably fit our party of six. There is absolutely no storage space in any of the rooms. The closets are cluttered and there was no place to put our clothes which on the ski trip can become super inconvenient. The kitchen utensils and cookware are outdated, and again, drawers and cabinets very cluttered. The cleanliness of the apartment is overall poor. Bathroom had no soap and a bunch of half empty shampoo and conditioner bottles Although location is good and size is convenient does not meet the standard for the price range.
Loved the location and the host communication. The bright harsh led lights in the place need to go. The lighting gave me a headache and was not cozy and inviting at all. Felt like a nail salon in Vegas. Also master bed and bath need some basic work. $500 and an interior designer would go a long ways to making this a 5 star experience. Everything else is was great.
Our two families spent 4 wonderful days at the penthouse which was ridiculously convenient to the Winter Park village, Fraser/downtown free shuttle routes and easy access to the Gondola. Dine-in and take-out options were numerous (Lime Cantina = great Mexican ; Deno's in downtown was also tasty). The unit was in immaculate condition w/ new everything, plenty of lounging room for kids to play, watch a movie or just relax. Massive outdoor patio w/ great views and a 30 second walk to the hot tub, a mandatory stop each day after hitting the bumps! A+++ !
Great location for skiing
Property just as advertised. Great location and easy check in/out. Communication was great and overall stay was enjoyable
This condo is in the perfect location for ski access to winterPark. It’s just a 2 minute walk to the gondola and the village is across the street. The only issue with the unit is that there were no dressers with drawers in any of the 3 bedrooms. Because of this we could not unpack our luggage and had to live out of our suitcases for 3 days which was not ideal.
This is a great unit for a family and is clean and well appointed. We had some significant issues with parking, both getting in the first time and a few days later my husband accidentally parked across 2 spots because there was snow and water and hard to see. A tow warning sticker was slapped on our truck and it took time to deal with that. Our older teen/young adult sons liked the place too. It was a 2 minute walk tj the base. Extremely convenient and all beds were comfortable which is something we look for.
Great spot for enjoying all that winter park and the surrounding area offers
2nd time staying in this unit. Great location, ammenities and hosts!!
