The Space:

Bring family and friends to enjoy this condo that is perfect for year round activities. It is located just off of Old Mammoth Road near the Eagle Lodge shuttle stop, Sierra Star Golf Course, Mammoth Meadow, and Mammoth Creek. Visitors will find themselves within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.



The living room is furnished with an oversized sectional couch placed near a fireplace and mounted flat screen TV. After a day of skiing and snowboarding it is ideal to light the fireplace and warm yourself. Set a cozy ambiance as you unwind on the couch with your guests.



A chef can easily whip up their favorite dishes in here. There are updated appliances and granite countertops. Guests can keep the chef company by taking one of the four seats at the built-in breakfast bar. Alongside this dining space, the dining table with seating for 6 is right around the corner.



Doors leading to the balcony are found in the corner as well. If the fireplace gets a little too warm, step outside to catch a breath of crisp mountain air. The balcony has nice views of the surrounding pine trees.



The master bedroom holds a King-size bed, TV, and has an attached bathroom. Down the hall the guest bedroom is similarly arranged with a King-size bed and TV. The guest bathroom has a standalone shower. Upstairs is a lofted space with further bedding. This is perfect for the kids with a Queen-size bed, two Twin-size beds, and an attached bathroom.



There are 2 outdoor parking spots with permits. The community sauna, hot tub, rec room, and laundry facilities are available year round. The recreation room has a ping pong table, pool table, and video games. The communal pool, tennis court, picnic area, and BBQ stations are only available during the summer.

    The condo was clean and the kitchen well supplied for doing our own cooking. The microwave was small but met our needs. As a small group, there was sufficient silverware, but there might not be enough spoons for a larger group. The dishwasher was a quiet model. The parking was easy. We have stayed in this complex before so we were aware that the grocery store was within walking distance and that the Mammoth Lakes shuttle bus stop was close. We appreciated having two bedrooms and a loft and three bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, although the mattresses on the loft bunk bed are thinner, being 'kids'' mattresses. There were plenty of towels. One concern is that there are no hand rails on the stairway to the loft; it would be safer if at least the lower portion had a railing. However, this was not a big issue. Lighting was pretty good. We did not use the TV. Despite the comparatively warm weather (80's F), the loft did not get too hot; there is a fan available in the loft if it had been warmer. We didn't use the spa or pool or game room but they looked inviting.

    I was notified 2 days before our trip that the jacuzzi was out of service. I contacted Grand Welcome at that point and said I wanted to cancel our reservation if the jacuzzi isn’t working. Grand Welcome told us they contacted property management and HOA about this issue and jacuzzi was working. It was not working correctly when we arrived. It was 48 degrees outside maybe 80 degrees in jacuzzi and not heating up over next 3 hours. I complained multiple times Grand Welcome and asked for some compensation from them, management for building, HoA, or owners and told there was nothing they could do. Use caution with Grand Welcome as somebody is not forth coming about property amenity issues-which somebody knew from the obvious first email alert

    Location, parking, and checking in and out were a breeze. Also very generous of the host to provide wood for the wood stove as that was a nice touch. Overall a comfortable cozy space perfect for our time in Mammoth.

    Overall was a 5 star, but 2 issues. Downstairs bathroom toilet had weak suction so had to flush a few extra times. Upstairs TV old RCA black and white - needs an upgrade.

    Horrible experience.Without running water for an entire day.A random woman came into the condo unannounced and uninvited . Said she was “ checking the master keys” what?!Multiple problems with appliances .Horrible interactions with host.Offered me a 5% rebate . That was less than the cost of a night stay . Not good enough.
