Good location. Clean, but outdated, tired interior. Was entitled to early checking, but the 10-digit code didn't work. Entire stay, we were locked out because the new code provided worked only 50% of the time. Would not stay again.
Ok
This place is fantastic. Spacious, beautiful, and just a long iron from the main campus at Crystal Mtn. It's close enough to feel the pulse of all that Crystal Mtn. has to offer, yet remote enough to fully enjoy our get-a-way!! John
Beautiful location without the resort costs. Perfect for a work trip or family getaway. Only very minor complaint was a strange sound coming from what I believe was a utility closet. Not sure of it was the water heater, as it seemed to happen around times of showers. Other than than, everything was perfect!
The place was ok for the price and location. Location and space was good. We first had a problem with the guest bath because the shower didn't work. Multiple attempts to reach the owner/management (Vacasa) didn't provide any help, so we had 5 people using one shower! Crystal Mtn resort made it clear they didn't provide service for this unit. Then, we got locked out of the unit due to my kids fault. Vacasa customer service was much better, but the back up key in the lock box was missing! They finally gave us the master code, and it worked to get us back in. Finally, on the second night, the kids upstairs with the yappy dog decided to throw an impromptu teenager party. Loud but tolerable until about 11PM when the jumping up and down started. We had to go upstairs to explain to 12-15 kids (no adults) that they weren't the only ones in the building. They more or less stopped and departed an hour later when the parents came back from the closed ski resort bar. Besides all that, it was a nice stay but should be much better given the price. $200/night would be more appropriate. Also, the towels were really awful. They can do better than those useless, Teflon coated linens.
I was super disappointed in the quality of this home. The price was very high for the condition of the location. Some issues we discovered which were not cosmetic or sanitary. Hall bathroom toilet clogged when we walked in. Window lock in master broken. Chip in countertops. Freezer, ice maker broken. The water is leaking all over the freezer creating a thick coating of ice. We turned off the ice maker to keep from exasperating the problem. The front door needs fixing as it does not properly fit in the door jam and locking it is almost impossible. Master sink leaking. The dishes were dirty, we had to wash them before use. Master shower is absolutely filthy (I did not go into the other bath). The furniture (wood) needs to be wiped down between guests. The capacity for the location was 8 people, we reserved for 6 and there was only 4 towels and washcloths. No additional towels, washcloths, or pillowcases anywhere. For around $470/night, this was simply unacceptable.
Location near the Crystal Center general store worked well. Space, size of rooms is good.
We enjoyed the three bedroom condo in Wintergreen, however unless you are an early riser, you may want to avoid this listing. Two of the rooms have very large windows with half circles at the top. This means no window covering and while it isn't an issue for privacy, the early morning sunlight comes in. The master bedroom has a large skylight that shines light right into the sleeping person's eyes. Despite this, we did enjoy the property and always love visiting Crystal Mountain. Note that the room with bunk beds does have railing for the top bunks, but it isn't on the listing.
Condo was just as pictured and very clean (except carpet had a lot of white dog hair which was better after we vacuumed). Beds were comfortable and kids enjoyed two sets of bunks in third bedroom. Kitchen was well supplied. Location just a very short walk to lodge and pools. All in all good weekend.
A nice location to the mountain. It is roomy for 3 bedrooms
