Burnt Store is a well maintained gated community with both permanent and seasonal residents. The property is a condo in Burnt Store Marina with two bedrooms (sleeps 4) two full baths, single car carport. Cable television, internet/wifi service (Broadstar Cable), large heated swimming pool within Commodore Club complex and unit has a screened in lanai. The condo has been recently updatedand comes with a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Laundry room has full size washer and dryer.

The on-site golf course is a 27 hole public course with restaurant, pro shop, cart and club rentals with driving range and putting greens. A fitness center and tennis courts are also available within the Marina property.

Casual and fine dining at Cass Cay with both inside and outside seating overlooking the marina basin and offers entertainment on weekends. Casual dining at the golf club is available. Burnt Store Marina has marked bike and walking paths along main roads for your safety.

    This was a lovely area to stay. There is still a lot of visible Ian damage throughout this area as well as most of SW Florida but it didn’t stop us or any of the other residents from taking in the beauty of the area. The condo location is perfect being on the first floor. Would definitely recommend!

    We had just short of a 4 month rental. This condo was well equipped. More so, than many other units that we have rented at Burnt Store Marina in the past 9 years. It was quite, the neighbors were friendly. We felt safe and secure at all times. The owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this unit.

    I found the condo very comfortable and quiet. The sofa maybe a little dated. The condo also had a slight musty smell. But all in all very nice accommodations.

    We were so pleased with not only the condo but the communication with the owner who allowed us to extend our stay due to delays in our home being ready on time. Condo was clean, in a very nice location and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying there.

    Very comfortable condo with all the furnishings and amenities we needed for our five week stay. Much bigger than I expected. Nice green space setting (even decorated for the holidays) inside a great community.

    It was 10 miles either direction to a grocery or other shopping. We cook for ourselves and a better supplied kitchen would have been good. Enjoyed the walking around the marina. we are not golfers or boaters so found less to do. I am a lap swimmer so it was 12 miles to a good pool for that. the sunshine was great.

    Our experience with the apartment, itself, was fine. The apartment was clean and well-furnished. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was near. Our overall experience was less than satisfactory. Upon leaving, the owner kept the entire (several hundred dollar) deposit.. claiming someone wore his wife's pajamas, someone wore his clothes and his new shoes, and there was cigarette smoke in the apartment. We did none of that. However, it's difficult to dispute. I sent polite emails to the owner asking about any other person, family member or cleaning service personnel that had access to the apartment. None of the emails were answered. Additionally, the apartment was open and unlocked upon our arrival. Any owner should lock away personal items when an apartment is rented. An owner should also ensure an apartment is locked and secured at all times when vacant. I don't know if someone actually did the things alleged or if this was the owner's way of keeping the deposit. I would just caution any potential renter to be cautious and weigh the risks and benefits of any vacation apartment.
