Why priced so well We are the owners, grew up here, live close by, and have been doing this for 20+ years now, so we are competitive at pricing
Excellent location ! Excellent prices ! Directly across the 3/4 mile causeway from Sullivan's Island pristine beaches, in beautiful old village mount pleasant.
- Located in a very safe area 1 mile to Sullivan's Island Beach, 6 miles to downtown, 12 miles to the airport, 2 miles to Shem Creek’s famous seafood restaurants, 4 miles to the Yorktown at Patriot’s Point, and 1 mile to Pitt Street Bridge, this condo offers a huge King size Rice Bed in bedroom as well as a top line queen sleeper in LR. The full bath with extra deep tub/shower is located thru BR. The living area is open concept with queen denim sleeper (beautyrest), wing back chair, and 42' Smart HDTV, small kitchen is fully equipped, and dining table seats 4 comfortably. A stack washer/dryer is in hall closet.1 private parking spot off-street is not large enough for huge trucks, as our lot is small, they block the access for all other vehicles, and parking a premium here. An F150 or Hummer would have to use an alternative around the corner. Free high speed private XFinity WIFI and Smart TV.
Walk a mile to Sullivan’s island’s gorgeous beach and fun pubs, or a mile the other direction to Old Pitt Street Bridge, a 1000-foot pier, is a favorite biking, walking, crabbing, fishing destination on the Intracoastal Waterway with incredible sunsets overlooking downtown Charleston. A full shopping center, 2 grocery stores, and 9 restaurants/pubs are less than 2 blocks walk. There are five top golf courses within 10 to 20 minutes drive and many more 30-45 minutes.
One of our best features is that we are located in a much lower traffic area than most of the Charleston Area. Mount Pleasant’s Old Village is accessible to downtown and beaches without entering the main traffic areas of Hwy 17 which have become a burden to our city. Directions will be direct and simple and involve few complicating factors. This can make a serious difference in your experience. It was built in 1975, renovated in 2009, without granite and stainless. *We are only "perfect" for some travelers. There are others on here that advertise being perfect, and we encourage perfectionists to rent those.
The Village is the nicest area, but most brand new places are miles up the HWY, or down the block with 5 star rates.
Due to local ordinance, we are now 30 day or more rental, for a great monthly rate/deal.
Dogs must be approved and PET Fee covered!!! Extra cleaning after pets is done for future guests with mild/moderate pet allergies.
No Cats - I am sorry to say it costs over $1000 to de-allergy a furnished home after cats, and my daughter, as well as other guests, are severely allergic.
We provide a limited amount of start-up paper goods, soaps, etc.

Rented this condo for two months to work remotely snd get away from the NE winters. It was perfect for me and my daughter. Great location, minutes from virtually everything! Plenty of room in the condo for both of us, storage for our bikes outside and wonderful, prompt communication from Susan. Great stay.
Nice one bedroom condo with comfortable king bed. Street noise is loud in living room, but quiet in bedroom. Can walk to restaurants. Five minute drive to Shem Creek. Susan was really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Just as described! Comfortable and plenty of space for two.
Location is great for beach and Charleston area. Condo was vey quiet. We had an issue contacted the Manager and she promptly responded and took care of Us!
I can't say enough good about this property! It was clean and well-appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable and the couch pulled out, but was nice and oversized for just one person. All of the travel size toiletries that you would expect were provided, but also spare toothbrushes, deodorant, and feminine products! There were even beach supplies (including a cooler) provided for tenant use. We didn't need them, but I was impressed to see a high chair and pack 'n' play provided as well. The washer and dryer in unit was a great bonus! VERY pet friendly! I have a 130 pound mastiff and it's not easy to find places that will allow him. The condo complex was very quiet with respectful neighbors. The location itself is very convenient to everything in the Charleston area. There are several good restaurants nearby and both a Publix and CVS within walking distance. The owner was very quick to respond to a concern about the AC. It ended up resolving itself, but she scheduled a repair man ASAP. I will absolutely book here again the next time I come to the Charleston area.
Great neighborhood, far enough away from the hectic pace but close enough to do whatever we wanted. Very comfy bed and couch ( my wife never sleeps in). Great Mexican restaurant within walking distance.
We had a fantastic visit and really appreciated the convenient location to beaches at IOP and Sullivan’s island with downtown Charleston only 15 minutes away. Shem Creek/Mt Pleasant has plenty to offer as well. The rental was more spacious than we expected based on the pictures and had everything we needed! There is a little road noise, mostly noticeable in the living area but the street is really not that busy by this part of town and it’s probably better here the ground level units in the complex, it did not disturb our sleep. Susan is a very helpful and responsive host and went out of her way to ensure we had a great visit!
All was great! The location Perfect!! Beach, Charleston , great places to eat, Airport! And all at a terrific price!! Thank you, VRBO!
We enjoyed our stay and found the area to be extremely convenient to everything in the greater Charleston area! The owner is a lovely lady who helped us through a few snags! The condo is small but very charming decorated with some very nice furniture! The 4 poster king size bed was comfortable and a nice change for those of us who have lived with a queen size bed for many years. The owner has supplied a book with information about restaurants and attractions in the area. ..a nice touch! She made herself convenient for any questions we had. All in all our stay was a positive experience!
It was the perfect size for two people, and the location is fantastic.
