Hilton Pool Pass: Valid for stays now through December 31, 2026. Maximum 6 persons per pass (children under the age of 5 are not counted towards the 6 person max). Use of the Hilton Waikoloa Pass is valid from 4pm on your arrival date and 11am on your departure date. The pass and instructional letter will be in your vacation rental upon arrival. Free Self-Parking for one vehicle at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. Access to all pools, waterslides and hot tubs at the premises of the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. Includes pool towel service. No blackout dates or restricted use, Fitness Center use from 9am-5pm for $20.00 per day, per person (regular rate is $25.00). Locker rental at the Kona pool for $10.00 per day, per locker. We do not have the ability to add additional people to the pass. Users must be registered guests of ResorticaHawaii.com. There are no exceptions to this policy and if policy is breached, the pass can be revoked. Passes cannot be sold or purchased, they are an inclusion in your stay at participating ResorticHawaii.com vacation rental properties. If pass is lost or damaged, there is a $250.00 replacement fee. Terms and fees are subject to change.

Fees are $95.00 per person, per round. There are three 9-hole courses (Kings Nine, Lakes Nine and Beach Nine). Guests can combine two courses for a total of 18 holes. Golf Club Rentals are $50.00.

Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler.
Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex.
Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free.
Parking: Parking for one car in a covered carport stall. Additional car is on a first come, first serve basis in any unmarked/visitor parking spots. Maximum two cars allowed. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed.
Swimming Pool: Community swimming pool.
Hot Tub: Community hot tub.
Fitness Room: Yes, fitness room onsite.
Air Conditioning: Yes, central air conditioning throughout.
BBQ: BBQ Grill on the lanai.

Kolea 16B a highly desired 2nd floor unit offers stunning garden and mountain views in the highly desired vacation resort area of the Waikoloa Beach Resort with direct beach access to Anehoomlau Bay and beach.

Kolea is a gated condominium community adjacent to Anaehoomalu Bay in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Located nearby the Waikoloa Queens Marketplace, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops for great shopping and excellent dining. The Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf Courses run throughout the resort. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a short 5 minute walk or a few minutes’ drive from Kolea.

All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

    Very disappointing. The “Lazy River” was not what one would expect…no tubes or currents. The main kid friendly pool was full of adults spilling their drinks into water. There was very little shade and it was hot! Unless you were prepared to pay $150 for a 2 seated shaded lounger. Never again!

    We come to the islands at least once a year. Previously, we rented a house in the Kolea area, but this time it was just adults, so the 2-suite condo was an excellent configuration - we stayed 2 weeks. For the most part, we really liked the condo - it's well located with easy access to the beach and it's quiet. We would recommend arriving your first day in daylight. It will be much easier to find the building. The complex is large with very subdued lighting - very pretty. The only reasons we didn't give 5 stars were, it was not as well-stocked with basics like Kleenex and sponges as we were accustomed to from previous rentals, which required an immediate shopping trip; the carpet needs a good cleaning (maybe do something different from beige, which is impossible to keep clean with so much traffic), and we only had hot water about half the time.We figured out that in some of the bath sinks, hot is plumbed on the left and on the other sinks, it's plumbed on the right. Despite figuring that out, we couldn't always get hot water. The maintenance person Steve is very responsive and helpful but even he was puzzled by the hot water problem. The Resortica office was responsive but I sensed they thought I was the problem, that I just didn't know how to work things. I expect that everything is now in good working order. We enjoyed our stay.

    The condo was very centrally located and well appointed. We had a fabulous time. The second bedroom with its massive onsuite was perfect for two teenage girls. They felt like they had their own apartment. The central location was also perfect because they could walk to the gorgeous pool, market, the movies, the shops and the beach by themselves so they got in some quality free range kid time.Additionally, Resortica Hawaii, the property management company for the rental was absolutely wonderful. Everything was seamless.

    Property Manager was extremely communicative and accommodating. We were informed in advance that the washer was not working properly. They helped us get our laundry done with little to no inconveniences.Unit itself was beautiful. Cannot beat that patio balcony with the glass doors that tuck away to fully open to the outside. Our stay came with access to the pool for the gated community which in itself was amazing. We also had passes to the Hilton pool. Spent most of our time there.

    Great layout out of the condo and good location but there is a smell in that condo that is overpowering...almost like people smoked in there and chemicals or ozone units tried to cover it up. Or a musky stale smell. Got home and our clothes smelled horrible.Notified the management company and they were going to look into it. Carpet through out and had some stains. Maybe the smell was from the carpet or HVAC but only way to make it livable was open all windows.

    We loved our stay here! We had an issue with the air conditioner, but management was super responsive and did everything in their power to get repairs done. Communication was excellent. Two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms that looked like they were in a spa! We loved the lanai and the barbecue, as well as the spacious kitchen and eating area. What a treat to have passes to the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa! The water slides were a hit with the whole family. Convenient walking location to the King’s and Queen’s shops as well as the beach and pool. Just a perfect location! We hope to return someday!

    We booked this Vrbo for 8 days for a spring break trip. The unit was clean and well stocked. We also appreciated all the beach equipment as previous rentals didn't come with anything. We would stay here again.

    Our first time to the Big Island. We think Kolea is the perfect place to stay with a beautiful beach for swimming, a lovely pool and hot tub and a relaxed but luxurious vibe. We liked being walking distance to shops and restaurants as well. The unit was as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make family meals. Beds were really comfortable. The unit is well maintained for a rental property. We would definitely stay again.

    Nice unit. They need a better location for the kitchen trashcan which is located on dirty carpeting.
