The Highland Awaysis is our condo at the center of Lower Highland (LoHi). The Awaysis provides an excellent live/work environment, steps from the most exciting neighborhoods in Denver. There are more than 50 restaurants within five blocks of the Snug. The Snug has a walk score of 90.

Located on Upper 15th Street, the Awaysis is a short walk or ride to Union Station, the 16th Street Mall bus, light rail, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Mile High Stadium, and downtown Denver. The Awaysis is at street level, so has easily accessed from and to 15th Street.

The lower level (about 1200 sq. ft.) is a lock-off suite with a large living room, master bedroom, full bathroom and kitchen. The living room has a sunroof ceiling that keeps it bright and comfortable. A Murphy bed in the kitchen provides a second sleeping area that can be separated from the living room by a sliding wall. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a desk and private door into the bathroom.

The upper level contains another loc-off suite, about 600 sq ft, and a second living room with a half bath. The washer/dryer are located off of that living room.

Includes Xfinity cable TV and high-speed Internet. There is a flat screen TV and surround sound system in living room.

Three off-street parking spaces are included in a secure lot, with additional spaces available from the HOA at $150 per month. So close to everything that a car is not needed. There are scooters and bikes everywhere that make short trips around the neighborhood easy.

    First the location can not be beat. You are a 30 min or less walk away from anywhere in the city. All sports arenas, food, drinks everything. The are was clean and communication was top notch. Had everything you would need for extended stays. Cant wait to come back!

    My second stay at William's property in the lower highlands. The location cannot be beat. Easy ( walking ) access to downtown, quiet unit, and within minutes you can be on the highway to explore surrounding areas. Thanks William!

    Had a wonderful stay at the Highland Snug. William is an excellent host - from the attention to detail and time spent getting me up to speed on the unit and location when I first arrived, to the ongoing open communication. I can't imagine a better location - the lower highland area is super nice, clean, and with plenty of restaurants, some literally right outside the front door ( but are quiet locales, if that were a concern ). Good sized gated parking area which was a nice plus. Very glad I pulled the trigger on this rental - would love to visit again sometime in the future.

    We had a wonderful time at the Snug. As we were long term rentals, I was a bit nervous to live below ground. Rest assured there is plenty of natural light! The Snug has plenty of room if you have more than one individual working remotely. The Murphy bed also had a few users and all my friends/family said it was comfortable! The LoHi area is amazing - so many fun restaurants and bars in walking distance. Additionally, there is a walking/biking trail extremely close by.

    The snug was a perfect place for my me and my friend to stay for a month while looking for more permanent housing in Denver. It was well-equipped with everything we needed (kitchenware, TV, bikes, blankets/towels, laundry machine, etc.). Even though it is a basement-level apartment and has no windows, there is a greenhouse roof that allows light to come in from above. William was a very helpful host and was around a lot to help answer questions and make sure we were enjoying our stay.

    My wife and I had an extended stay at Highland Snug during summer 2020. We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the place is very near great LoHi restaurants, near the river and park, and an easy commute to downtown Denver. We took full advantage of the two bikes that came with the rental. Bill was very responsive to any of our questions and was a great host all summer. We wished our stay didn't have to end.

    We had a great vacation in Denver! Bill met up with us the day after we got in to go over the ins and outs of the apartment. He responded immediately when we needed help with the parking lot gate. The snug was clean and well equipped to use for cooking, including spices! Bill checked in with us to be sure all was going well. It was a perfect place to stay in Denver to see the city and mountain sights!
