Steep strairs and very tight parking but lovely otherwise

The place was great with lots of room and a couple blocks from everything. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Beautiful house in a perfect location. Just a short block and a half walk away from Main St. The neighborhood is quiet and the locals are very friendly. We saw deer our daily walks with the dogs. Check in was a bit confusing as there is a door into the entrance, which the code was not listed in chek in. I did send a text and got a quick text back with the info. Front door to the house was unlocked upon our arrival so it felt a little nervous walking in. Check out with the code was a bit difficult, and I'm not sure if I did it right. Overall great place and great host! Love tgat it is a pet friendly place.

We loved the area of the condo. It was quiet ,for the most part. Close to everything that we wanted to do. We had multiple vehicles, so being aboe to park cliae by was nice. We were quite comfortable with all that was offered in the condo. It felt safe and well lit. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

This property has everything g you need and is perfect for walking to everything. Host is excellent with communication and there was nothing we had to ask for or question with the stay. Perfect house for a family or single. If you have a larger vehicle like we do(Chevy 3500 long bed) parking is a little tight just know that but we made it work, other than this everything with the property is excellent!! Will recommend and will rebook when we go back!

Great location, balcony was awesome for relaxing. Gets warm upstairs but fans provided and we were comfortable.

Favorables: location, cleanliness, property mgt response to problems, many good eateries. Unfavorables: VERY tight parking space, VERY limited space to hang clothing, vagrant using parking space to chill out, homeless people loitering throughout town and especially along Animas river walking paths.

We loved this home and we loved this location - a few blocks from downtown! Perfect for a family. Clean and very nice.

This is a very clean and spacious townhome located in the heart of it all. It is great for a couple or small family. Views of mountains and city. Walking distance to everything you need. We would have no problem staying here again in the future.

We enjoyed the location as it was central to most of Durango and also only 30 minutes to Purgatory. We drove to dinner and coffee (Joe's is amazing), but we also walked a few times. The rooms/beds were wonderful! The sofa in living room is a King. We loved the amenity boxes VRC provided - we didn't buy anything but food! Property was as described and had great customer service!Parking spot is tight but that was the ONLY downside!

It is over College Ave which can be noisy. The master bedroom was beautiful and quiet. Ear plugs solved our issue.

We were walking distance from Main St., the Animas River, coffee shops and the grocery coop! The condo is well maintained and has a balcony where you can enjoy a meal or your morning coffee!This is the perfect location for your stay in Durango!

Very nicely decorated and clean condo in a convenient location. It is very close to the Historic Downtown so close to the train station, restaurants/bars, and shops. The management company was quickly responsive to our questions. But two points that are not clear on the website: 1) the on-site parking can't hold anything bigger than a Tundra pickup truck. And there is no way to overlap. There is free street parking nearby, but on the weekend, that gets full. 2) the website does say in small print that the condo apartment is on the second floor (with no elevator). But the bedrooms are up another long flight of stairs. These 2 issues caused us some difficulty, so I'll give them 4 stars instead of 5.

A couple of things to be aware of. The A/C does not work very well in upstairs space, it did get up to 80 degrees in the afternoon and evening. Downstairs space was nice and cool. The smaller bedroom contains 1 twin bed and 1 twin size chair pullout. Works great for kids but the chair pullout not ideal for an adult. Unit was nice and clean. Host provided good selection of games and TV's are set up for you to use your own streaming services.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great and as-described, only one minor issue was the A/C wasn't keeping the bedrooms cool enough for our liking upstairs. The high temps reached 90 degrees outside during our stay and A/C couldn't keep up with the challenge in the upstairs rooms. Fans were provided which helped and it ended up being a minor inconvenience. I wouldn't expect this to be a problem except during the hottest days in Durango. Also, don't expect any spices in the kitchen, not even salt and pepper. But coffee was provided and appreciated. Overall this was a wonderful place for our family of four to enjoy downtown Durango for a week.

Condo was updated very smartly. We also loved this condo’s location with access to the Riverwalk and just around the corner from beautiful third Street and all the original beautiful paintings as well.

Very convenient location. Clean. Quiet considering proximity to Main St. Would benefit from more hang up space for clothing and some relatively inexpensive single use items (salt, pepper, sugar packets).
