Stayed Jul 3, 2025This started off terrible! We get to the Condo and door code that we were given was not correct. We finally get inside, the unit itself was terrible and the toilet in the Master bathroom would not flush. Called the rental agency and they said they would be sending maintenance which did not show until the next day. Later on that day we decided to check out the surroundings ie: pool, lazy river and beach. Well to get to the pool and lazy river you needed a phob. We did not receive a phob... I called and was told they would look into it. I also asked them where the beach access was. The young man put me on hold and came back to tell me that the nearest beach is 4.9 miles down the road. That is NOT beach access. We did not receive a phob that day either. I called again the next morning about the phob. This time the person on the line informed me that the property manager was unable to get the phob from the property owner. I won't say our vacation was ruined, however we picked this Condo because of the amenities which we did not have access too. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Stayed Apr 9, 2025Overall we are very happy with our stay. The location is great, especially because the reason for our visit was to attend an event at the wharf amphitheater. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Beaches were about a 15 min drive. Upon arrival we were unable to gain access to the unit due to the door code not working. We called customer service and they had to go through a couple different codes, but eventually were able to gain access. The unit was clean and spacious. Unit was clean with the exception of the floor Tile grout . There were very few items in the condo, so you definitely have to go to the store for almost everything such as shampoo, salt/pepper, beach towels. There was one hairdryer in the whole unit. With 6 girls it definitely would’ve been nice to have 1 per bathroom. The pool area is about 1/2 mile down the road which wasn’t horrible. When we went the Oasis grill at the pool was not open, so we were able to bring our own food and drinks in. We did call another day to find out the hours for the pool and grill and were told the wrong times. We arrived and the grill was already closed. Was disappointed that there was no hot tub as advertised. When we asked one of the workers at the pool he stated they do not have a hot tub. They only have a small heated pool which was around 90 degrees. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Stayed Apr 28, 2024Stay overall was great. Had a minor issue getting into the unit as the code was not functioning properly but the management company responded pretty quickly and were able to get in after a few minutes. Would definitely return next year.

Stayed Apr 3, 2024This space was perfect for my family of 8. Plenty of beds to accommodate everyone & Kitchen spacious for cooking breakfast. The location was perfect for the cheer competition at The Wharf. Things to improve: bedding is too soft & definitely NOT enough pillows (too flat); master bedroom needs a stepstool to be able to get into the bed; furniture is dated and needs to be professionally cleaned as it’s stained a good bit. Glass table gets dirty easily and I didn’t think of bringing glass cleaner with me. Overall a great spot for functions going on at The Whatf! Will be back!

Stayed Jul 10, 2022We stay at the Wharf frequently. By far Southern Vacation Rentals has been the worst management company we have dealt with and will not rent from them again. Booking our stay and extending it one night was easy and efficient; however, after our arrival, everything went down hill. Upon arrival, the door code did not work (as stated in an earlier review). We had to call and the agent changed the code three times before it actually worked for us the enter the unit. Once in the unit, the rooms seemed clean but the ice makers and grills are broken. Code for housekeeping does not or want to clean ,at least the icemaker. There is also a separate ice machine that doesn't work. Since we have stayed several times, we know that you must have parking passes for your vehicles or you'll be towed. No parking passes on the counters. Another phone call had to be made. This agent told us to look under bed for a plastic container. Found it; no parking passes. Look in the drawers; nope. Basically, we were sent on a scavenger hunt and it took two days to find them in an envelop above the microwave. We requested that someone just drop them off since we couldn't find them. No one ever showed. The internet also started going out. We reset the modem ourselves but the range did not extend to the front bedrooms which have smart TVs. We couldn't connect them. Also asked for help with that which also never came. We seemed to be in daily contact with Southern Vacation Rentals and still didn't get things resolved. No one should have to communicate that much on vacation. Finally check out is at 9am. Yes, 9am. After checking out about 8:45am on Thursday 7/14, we left the condo according to the instructions we were left. On Friday at 3:32pm, I received an email that I had already been billed for a lamp that I didn't break. A picture was sent to me of the living room lamp cracked in half over 24 hours AFTER we had left the unit and I had walked through it upon leaving. After talking to them on the phone AGAIN, they were not helpful and the charges are sticking. We are not dishonest people and would own any damage that we had done; I regret not taking exit pics. Please read the previous reviews. It isn't a situation where we are difficult renters; all of my reviews are positive and leave praise for hosts/management companies. You can see it's a pattern and I hope the owners see these reviews. Very disappointing and expensive trip.
