Gullwing 606 | Steps to Beach + Resort Pool

Great location and beautiful unit. We had a great time. This is our 2nd stay at the Gullwing and plan to return again. In comparison, our first stay was a better experience. Communication here was not as good, and what was provided in the unit was much less than the unit we were in previously. We frequently use VRBO and appreciate having basic items that we don’t have to buy. That was not the case in this unit.

Very clean and spacious. Our family of 6 was more than comfortable. Beautiful sun set views with a great beach. The pool and resort were very family friendly. We are already looking to book again.

We always love staying at Gullwing! Had a great time! The only bummer was we were not supplied beach towels so we had to go buy some. We also had no Kleenex or garbage bags.

Beautiful condo, well equipped, clean, and perfect for our girls trip. The only disappointment was the hot tub at the pool was not hot and they were going to have it worked on the day that we left.

Wonderful condo that was perfect for our girls trip. Would stay again.

Everything was great! The only thing we found strange was no lock on the guest bathroom. It was clean, easy, and we had a great time.

The unit itself is wonderful, plenty of room, enough kitchen utensils/etc, and exactly what we were looking for. The exterior of the building was undergoing some construction, which led to some minor inconveniences such as early morning noise and some parking capacity being unavailable, but that is all understandable and the complex will be great again once complete.The commercial ice maker at the base of the back elevator is genius, I wish more complexes would add these!The only complaint I had, was that the floors in the unit were not cleaned very well prior to our arrival, but that is a cleaning issue and not a unit/building problem. We would absolutely stay in this unit again.

We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed watching sunsets and listening to morning waves on the balcony. The condo was clean and very beautifully decorated. The views from the bedroom, dining room, and balcony are fantastic. The only things I would nitpick would be no bathroom lock on the front bathroom door, no door on the master bathroom shower and tub, and the very hard beds. However, these things definitely wouldn’t keep us from returning. We were close to the beach and minutes away from delicious restaurants and fun shopping. Parking was easy and the air conditioning was really great. The appliances were nice and we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our visit. The stay was delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beach, pool, and restaurants. The (free) bike rentals were fantastic, allowing us to explore nearby stores, ice cream shops, and even the museum.

They neglected to clean thoroughly before we arrived which forced our hand to purchased cleaning items and clean ourselves.

We have been coming to FMB for decades and always stay on the south end. This was our second time staying at Gull Wing but first time in this particular unit. Check-in process and communication with manager was clear and easy. Unit is gulf front and we loved the patio and amenities of the resort. The only suggestions we have is that more pillows are needed in order to accommodate the guest maximum, and the main bathroom door does not lock which is problematic. Overall a great stay and I’d recommend and stay again.

We loved this condo! It’s so big and clean. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed. The nearby area has been devastated by the hurricane but there were still fun places to go and places to eat. I would definitely recommend this condo!

The place was spot on, on the inside there is still work being done on the complex due to Hurricane Damage would have love to sat outside on the balcony but due to missing sceen could not bugs we're eating us up...will love to come back when everything is done

While we enjoyed our stay at the beach, the condo itself had some issues. Every TV in all the bedrooms remote and TV did not work. I bought new batteries and it still didn’t work. While we live in the Midwest and heard of hurricane Ian we had no idea that is where this condo was located. The constant all day pounding, very loud jack hammer (sounded like that) and building was stressful. I don’t think many people were in the building renting for the week. We were on a vacation and the condo was nice but the situation around it was not. I spoke with them a few times about the rental and never did anyone mention this was going on. I called and complained about the noise and they gave me $180 credit. The ladies who answered my call did what they could. I’m sure the manager wouldn’t let them do more than what they did. It’s not her money or vacation so I’m sure she could care less. I’ll take that because at least it was something. We felt terrible about the destruction and hardship this hurricane left behind but would have appreciated the info so we could have decided if we wanted to go there. Not to say we didn’t enjoy it but had I know I would have gone to a different spot in Florida. We only found out about the devastation when we stopped at a local store to buy something’s on our way from the airport. The people who worked there were surprised they had not warned of this prior to our securing the condo. Still enjoyed the ocean and weather.
