Great location and amazing view of the beach!

I was nervous since we have never been but it turned out great! Definitely check your email prior to your trip. We has some dely but also we arrived a lot later than we expected. Overall we loved it and we will look into this place again for nexr time. We talked to several ppl staying and some that have been before said this was their first time at this location and it was better than most and a great price!!

Do not stay here! The property needs a deep cleaning and an update. I have two boys and require two bathrooms especially when on vacation. The second bathroom had a major leak which obviously didn’t just occur the day we arrived. The property manager wasn't too concerned with fixing it either. They sent someone on our 2nd day there to look at it only to confirm that the entire toilet needed to be replaced, again obviously an existing problem. Plumber wanted to come and fix the issue but would require that the water be turned off right when my family was trying to shower and get ready for dinner. They never checked with us to schedule a time for a repair and actually walked in unannounced and without knocking. Plumber said he was told the unit was vacant and just walked in. I paid for a two bed two bath but only had one functional toilet for our entire stay. Second and maybe the most important item is the king bed condition. The mattress needs to be replaced and it was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced. My family travels a great deal for business and pleasure and I have never written a bad review but this stay was very disappointing. The beach and amenities were the best part of the stay. Nice view and pool/spa were great. Definitely not worth the money to stay here. From reading previous reviews, I’m sure the property manager will respond to this review in a manner in which they treated us, badly. Never again!

It was a nice place to stay but the cleanliness was not to good

The place was beautiful exactly as I expected, supplies were available and plenty of towels were available as well. I would have liked to have seen coffee to make available to us but overall amazing.

The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location. Beautiful views from the unit and the balcony. Balcony was furnished nicely, loved the rockers! Check in was smooth.

The master bedroom was beautiful and extremely large. The second bedroom was good but very HOT! Doors were never opened in that bedroom, curtains remained closed at all times, and it stayed hot in that room. Fans were in closets, so they were used, but barely helped. A/C unit was set to 72 and it remained 76 until our second to last day there. Called My Vacation Haven regarding the A/C issue and they stated that they will get in touch with maintenance. Received call and they stated to reset A/C, which my husband did, but that did not help. The room remained hot and muggy and we could not adjust the thermostat, it was locked. It makes no sense to get up in the morning sweating. I understand that issues arise, but to book a condo, pay almost $4k for the week, and have it hot the entire time is unacceptable. Told the booking agency about this and it was a pretty dull response from them stating that they will let maintenance know. There were no apologies, no sympathy, nothing. Not even we'll make it right. The Surfside itself needs renovations, which was also told to them. We stayed on the 7th floor, the ceiling right by the elevators had water dripping from it the entire 7 days we were there. Trash can stayed under the drip and was almost full by the time we departed. The ceiling actually was falling down and they had pieces all over the floor. This is an older resort, but it for sure needs updates.

The teens could walk to get ice cream every night at Kilwins. Everything felt safe. The only negatives for me were that this condo does not come with complimentary set up of chairs and an umbrella. They provide chairs in the condo but at 50 years old i like to walk and find my seat on the beach. I paid for them to set it up and it was about $50/day. I’m sure condos that provide it add it into the cost of the condo so maybe that’s why this was so affordable. My only other negative that I never saw mentioned in any reviews was the parking. That parking garage was atrocious. When you get to the top, the only way down is backing out. Terrible layout. The first night there was nowhere to park so security let us park where the service vehicles park in then back. She somehow found a place for everyone to park but it was stressful. We leave to go eat a lot and I dreaded having to come back and find a spot every night because I did not want to go back in the parking garage. Overall a good experience. The beach was crowded but not unbearable. With all that being said, I’d still go back and stay based on the condo and location alone.

Overall great experience! We loved everything about the condo. The location was great! The only thing we would’ve liked were things like, more dishwasher detergent, trash bags, coffee filters, a few things like spices and oil. But overall it was a great experience!
