Gulf-View Hudson Condo in Waterfront Resort!

Great condo for a couple, clean and updated. Beautiful views.

It was discovered on day 1 that the condo room was infested with cockroaches. Host said they would spray. All they did was spray around base of cabinets. Was never offered another place to stay at all. Contacted the host when stay was up since we had no where else to go, we traveled from Indiana. When asked for a partial refund host said contact envolve. Contacted envolve and they said it was up to the host. They thought we should be happy with a 7.00 credit cleaning free. I was not a happy camper here at all for several reasons. We did not like the area where the condo was located. There was no beach, just a man-made lagoon that wasn't very big. We saw the ocean but it was the boating lanes. Photos led us to believe otherwise. The condo unit itself was too small and the sofa sat oddly to where the tv was. In addition, there was a pest issue, we spent our week killing cockroaches and flying ants. Don't know if anyone else had this issue. Then there was the disgusting pillows on the bed. When we contacted the owners about the pest issues, we were told they never had a pest problem. I would've been OK with a simple apology and that they were working with a pest control company but when you say you don't have an issue and then we find the evidence of bug killer powder and spray, we have another problem all together. We found the bug killer containers in the utility closet and under the sink. I had to email photos as evidence. That's a BIG problem.I suggest a few things to do before renting this condo out to others... get your pest problem under control and for goodness sake, get new pillows on the bed ASAP! Encase them in waterproof covers because frankly, those pillows are just nasty with yellow sweat stains. Thank goodness I always bring my own!Lastly for potential renters, wash all dishes, utensils, glasses BEFORE and after use. Keep the counters clean and wiped down before each use! We would not stay here again.

This property was in an amazing location with gorgeous sunset views. The facilities, like the workout room, were good. The condo was very comfortable.

It was amazing peaceful and relaxing everything we needed wasn't even 15 minutes away.

Condo is beautifully updated including a wonderful patio with an ocean view for morning coffee and evening drinks! It was clean and exactly as pictured! Kim was a great host and we would absolutely stay again!
