Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and condo amenities are very nice. We were disappointed in the unit. The furniture was not clean and had visible stains and ground-in dirt. The sofa and loveseat were very uncomfortable. The kitchen staples were less than adequate. We had to request more dishes since we didn't have enough to plates to get us through a day without washing. My Vacation Haven did provide more after we requested them. We would consider staying again if the furniture was replaced and the kitchen adequately stocked, but as it is, we won't be back.

TJ was very rude to my 2 boys yelling at them as they took off their bands off to wash off from the beach. I saw the interaction & went down to talk to TJ who was very rude & confrontational. In fact, while I was talking to him multiple people expressed that he had done the same to them getting in their face, yelling & being rude. There were at least 5 other guests who said he did the same to them. All in all the condo, property & amenities were great, but the security TJ was really rude & confrontational. I understand his job was to make sure people had their bands on, but he really needs to learn how to talk to people.

Reviewer Comments: We had 2 trips to make to Auburn to see our daughter on back-to-back weekends, so we decided the day of leaving to go to Destin instead of back to Nashville. We went to VRBO but could not check in the same day and the owner told us to call the rental company. I cannot say enough good things about the rental company and their desire to help us out and answer the many questions we had. They got us in the same day, they told us all about the Tram to take and beach chairs provided and came over to deliver us an umbrella that had gone missing for our trip. The Condo was beautiful, and clean, and had a great view from the balcony of the beach. This became a top-notch trip.

We love the view, the location, and everything about the experience here. We even had to call this time because we locked ourselves out of the condo and the employee we spoke with in the phone was incredibly nice and get us back into the condo quickly!

The condo was nice, the problem was the water heater not functioning and the rental company (property manager) was not good at resolution. We arrived Saturday and the water heater did not work. Emails sent they sent out

Reviewer Comments: issues with service provide.. there were know issues with this condo in advance we called and asked if everything had been fixed and were told yes, however on arrival called to report washer was not fixed. it was never in working condition during our stay as it wouldn't spin. Furniture was very dirty along with walls near door handles. we would not stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: This was the worst vacation experience we have ever had at Sandestin Beach Resort having vacationed there exclusively for almost 20 years! My Vacation Haven left a lot to be desired when attempting to handle our complaints due to the terrible shape the condo was in, which I feel sure they and the homeowner were well aware of. The shower in the master bathroom did not work properly the entire week and was completely unusable. The washer and dryer were both broken. The electrical panel was malfunctioning on both appliances and needed to be replaced according to the repairman that visited. The water coming into the condo at best was lukewarm and there was no hot water at the kitchen sink. A second repairman verified that the water intake was not entering the condo at a temperature that it was supposed to, supporting our claim that something indeed was wrong with both the water temperature and water pressure. The dishwasher didn’t work either. The pod dispenser did not properly deploy the pod into the cycle so dirty dishes were the result. A cleaning cycle on this outdated dishwasher was 3 hours. The dishes in the cabinet when we arrived were very dirty, again validating the dishwasher has been malfunctioning for a while. My vacation haven was terrible to work with in resolving these issues. None of these problems were resolved while we were there. And, the contractor who was supposed to come on Friday was a no-show. This condo should have never been rented out to guests. It has major issues. As a result, we will never rent from My Vacation Haven again and will be leaving Sandestin Beach Resort. These condos have declined significantly over the last ten years and are not properly maintained. The homeowners don’t care and neither does the property manager. This was absolutely the worst and most disappointing vacation experience we have ever had. We were duped, but it won’t happen again!

Propery is nice, but shower/water pressure is terrible. Water was barely coming out in the master bathroom. So we all were having to share the guest shower since it was only slighty better, and water was also lukewarm at best.
