We love the location between Destin and Panama City which gives us easy access to so many great places to eat and visit. Plus, it doesn’t get any better than staying ocean front at BeachCrest!

Our stay at BeachCrest on 30A was excellent! The complex is well maintained, safe, a short drive from both Seaside and Rosemary Beach, and an easy drive to Destin. We really liked that the beach chairs and umbrella were included in the price of the condo. Very convenient! Our unit was very nice and had most everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. The only real downside was the conflicting information between Vrbo and the management company. Vrbo's website clearly stated that we could cancel at no charge by a stated date. However, the contract sent by the management company included no such cancellation provision. After I called them, the management company instructed me to wait about signing the contract until after the free cancellation date advertised by Vrbo. Once I signed the contract, the free cancellation was over. Apparently, this is an ongoing conflict that really needs to get fixed.

Loved the Beachcrest Condo- this unit needs updating . New couch needed as there is no support for the seats. Blinds are missing slat and adjustment cord and chain .No ice maker in refrigerator so constantly having to make ice trays. Toaster looks like it needs to go to the dump- I do t think is can be cleaned. Instructions for the TV and channel guide would have been nice. Will not book this unit again unless updated. Paint is coming of ceiling and walls. There was a bottle cap in the garage disposal which we Removed. This should have been found by cleaning people If they cleaned the sink. Had to call maintenance as bath did not drain due to excessive hair in drain which cleaners should have reported if tub was cleaned thoroughly. Just wish I had brought some lysol with me. Beach Attendee (putting up chairs) did a great job.

Appalling, disgusting. There are a few other words to describe this condo. Full of mold on every wall, ceiling plaster falling off of the ceiling, furniture in bad shape, and unclean. I don’t mind that appliances and furniture have not been updated but they should be clean. This condo should never have been rented. I understand the owner has died not sure who’s in charge other than benchmark management who has been very unresponsive to us refused to call us only texting and only agreed to refund us $47 out of 1000. How in the world is it in the most exclusive area on 30 A that you could get such a bad unit. The air was terrible. They brought us a fan full of Ativan and said we’re sorry we didn’t get a chance to clean the room ahead of you or stay just awful.

Three days in we noticed mold on the walls near the ceiling in living room and bedroom. We did have an issue with the air conditioner and maintenance came up promptly to help us with the air conditioner. I believe one towel and one wash cloth is unacceptable for a 5 day stay. However, we went to the main location of Benchmark and they did give us 3 more wash cloths and 3 towels. much appreciated. I would personally give more towels and wash clothes in units. There were 3 of us staying in the room.

The beach area was family friendly and not crowded like most beaches. My daughter said this is “our new beach”.

It is a great location, ample parking, nice grounds, and the staff woman we talked to one morning was very friendly and was working hard cleaning up the area. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaints are the unit's bathroom was outdated and tiny and hard to move around in, but it has a wonderful view and that is the reason we book at Beachcrest.
