Stayed Oct 1, 2025We had an awesome stay at the Grumpy Grizzly, the place is well stocked with bath and kitchen items and the hot tub was a great way to relax after long days. The host was also very helpful with any questions we had. Would stay here again!

Stayed Aug 22, 2025The place was nice, but there were a few mistakes from the maid service… The entry to the place also had a step in so much disrepair that I was very nervous having people, including my 87 year old mom, enter and leave unassisted. Considering the amount of beds in the place, we were shocked by a lack of towels and washcloths. At 11pm on our last night we finally found a bunch of towels had been washed in the washer and left there wet. So we had to wash and dry them, and we had towels for the morning of checkout.The neighborhood was quiet, and the hot tub on the back porch was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and it was clean.

Stayed Apr 28, 2025Great Location! Close to Tahoe Donner Lodge, the Z Market & walking trails. The owner, Robert, was very responsive to our needs and immediately returned calls. This end-unit townhome has a beautifully maintained private hot tub amongst towering pines and a barbecue...very rare for a townhome! Perfect home for our month's stay, which was 1/2 business and 1/2 pleasure.

Stayed Apr 9, 2025We found the place to be very comfortable. The location is great for easy access. There is a good coffee shop and market a short walk down the street. We had a small problem that was solved quickly by the property manager. We will consider staying there again in the future.
