Ground Floor Oceanfront Condo Steps to the Beach at the Peaceful Kuleana Resort

We had an amazing stay! Despite the weather, high winds, power outage, we were very comfortable in our home away from home here in Kerry and Lynne’s condo. It was very clean and comfortable for us and our two young kids. They made sure we had everything we needed. We saw whales, turtles and even rays from the lanai. There was plenty of green grassy area in front of the unit for our boys to play and it felt very private. The neighbors were all extremely nice and kind too! I would highly recommend the Kuleana and this unit. Thank you!!

The location of this condo is amazing. The condo was somewhat unclean upon our arrival with crumbs on the counter and the coffee pot was dirty. No extra toilet paper present in the bathroom however we did find extra packages under the bed the day before we left and had already purchased some. The bed was very comfortable and the owners were very responsive to some of the issues we ran into. Overall, good experience.

Great stay. Comfortable condo. Fab location. Only thing that would make it better was a couple of additional beach towels.

We stayed here during the week when Lahaina was burned down to rubble. We were not able to change our return flights so we stayed for the whole trip. It was a devastating period of time for the locals who were heavily impacted. For us, it was both heart-wrenching and heart-warming. During our stays, we met more locals than tourists, with whom we had awesome conversations and supported each other. The property is in an excellent location. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset every day. It is literally a few steps away from the ocean and the kids swam every day. We also spotted green turtles. It is only a few minutes' drive to the other beaches including Kaanapali and Kapalua Bay. Local stores and restaurants are all within walking distance. The condo is nice and clean. It has AC in the bedroom, ceiling fans in both the bedroom and the living room, and one upright fan. However, when the power went out, we realized that we actually didn't need them. We left both the front and back doors open and the wind was cool and nice. Supplies in the property are sufficient. There are grills in the property complex so even with no power, we managed to eat well. We were very touched that Kerry refunded our payment as we didn't expect it at all. He has also set up a GoFundMe account and made donations to the Kuleana employees and their families who lost their homes. It was an unusual and unforgettable trip. We want to send our thankfulness to Kerry, our neighbors and the volunteers. Mahalo!

Our family has been coming to Maui for years and we love this complex. Stayed in this condo multiple times and always had an amazing experience. Will be back again :)

Pros: This place is a dream beach view house ..it combines the beach view with the garden view with ocean view and also you can see the mountain of the other island in the view.. this place had it all and it’s very quit .. inspiring and entertaining . The neighbors are very nice and they’re not nosy . You can stay in front of your place without finding someone bothering you or sitting in front of you or hiding the view. That was contrary to my expectations! Cons : Although it was clean but it had a lot of ants .. very small and fast and bites a lot ants. So it was not very comfortable but since we don’t stay all the day in the place , it was adaptable situation. Over all Very recommended.

Had a blast staying here for a week. We got to snorkel with turtles every day and met many interesting and friendly condo owners and renters. The unit provides a low key experience with beaches that are never over crowded but quick access to all the amenities the resorts offer near-by. Unit was clean, well taken care of, and had beach equipment to use. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat!

We stayed here for six nights and had a very good time. Condo was clean and as described. Bed was very comfortable and bath was clean and updated. Kitchen was also clean and had what we needed. The property overall is well-maintained. Both kitchen and bath had supplies like condiments and first aid stuff which was appreciated. The closest beach is small but awesome. Tons of turtles and good snorkeling. Fairly active surf so you have to pick your times to go in -- high tide had very high surf. The renters next door were on the loud side, but not the owners fault. Just luck of the draw. The entry doors and lanais are very close to each other so if the neighbors are noisy, you will hear them. . Had stayed in the same building 2 years ago and had no issue. The front desk is also helpful if it's a problem. Bathroom had no body wash or shampoo dispenser so BYO. Also, kitchen sponge was left from previous renters and was very smelly. Used pool and laundry which were clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great stay!

Location, location, location! We booked a condo because we were taking a longer (more than 2 weeks) vacation, it's close to amenities, and because we knew from experience that this is a superb snorkeling spot. Condo is ocean front, with sunset views and lighted torches every night. This is an attractive condo, the property is well maintained, and the beach areas are both excellent snorkeling spots. The AC unit and fans were a plus and the bed worked for us. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and the grills outside worked great. Everything was as expected and our stay was marvelous!
