Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from our stay at the Maui Sunset. The room was very clean and the property is wonderful. Our only complaint is related to a significant infestation of cockroaches in our room. They were all over the kitchen area, inside the cabinets and even inside the dishwasher and coffee maker. We notified the property manager when we noticed how bad the bug problem was. She told us she would return in a few days with bug spray and a new coffee maker. She never returned or called us. We had to purchase this ourselves. They did not even offer to put us into a different room. We have stayed at the Maui Sunset several times and this has definitely been our worst experience.

Reviewer Comments: We arrived the day of the fire, we were not advised of it other than power was out and would be back on by midnight - not, the staff left Wed afternoon and did no return before we were able to evacuate, we had no power, no cell, no food and were told to fill everything we could with water we would need to boil it to drink. The space was not as pictured it's old and dated nothing like described.
