This is a two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor unit with light color floor tiles and pale yellow walls. Bedroom one has dark green carpet, two double beds with headboards and a three-drawer white wood nightstand between the beds. On a larger five-drawer dresser is a television with a built-in DVD and VCR player. The private bath has the all the usual fixtures. Bedroom two holds a king-sized bed with headboard and two dark wood double-drawer bureaus. A six-drawer dresser has a television ontop that features a built-in DVD and VCR player. The private bathroom has the usual fixtures, with two sinks. In the kitchen you’ll find the standard appliances, which are all finished in white. At the dining counter stand two rattan stools with lightly striped red cushions. The dining area table has a glass top that is mounted on a natural wood rattan stand. Around the table are a half-dozen wicker chairs with woven backs that have cushions that match the breakfast bar stools. One wall of the living area is covered with mirrors from floor to ceiling. There are two large rocker armchairs with light wood arms, one covered with red fabric, the other with blue fabric. The couch is a light color and its fabric is decorated with myriad illustrations of beach umbrellas. There are two wood side tables and a coffee table that all resemble each other. Stored under the coffee table are four seats that can be pulled out for your use. A very large flat screen television, DVD player, and stereo sound system occupy a large entertainment center.

    Upon our arrival at Phoenix East, we were immediately met with an extremely unpleasant odor that permeated the entire condo. Despite our efforts to air it out by leaving the door open and ventilating the unit, the smell persisted throughout the entire stay, making the environment quite uncomfortable.Additionally, we discovered that the freezer in the unit was not functioning. I reported this issue to the front desk on two separate occasions, but unfortunately, no one was ever sent to inspect or resolve the problem. As a result, all of the frozen groceries we had just purchased upon our arrival were ruined, which was both inconvenient and costly.Furthermore, the pool on the property was noticeably dirty, and it appeared as though the pump or filtration system was not working properly. I also reported this issue to the front desk, but again, no action was taken during the duration of our stay.While I am not usually one to complain, I feel it’s important to bring these issues to your attention—especially given that the total rental cost for the two-bedroom unit was over 1,500. The experience fell short of expectations.

    Check in was a breeze. And the location of the room allowed us to stay safe during this Covid crisis.
