Stayed Feb 21, 2023We love Maui Sands. This unit is truly 11ft from the ocean, walk out on the main floor. Easy ocean access and a fun reef to explore and Bob in the Pacific. This was our second time at Maui Sands and stayed in a different unit that was updated and more fresh. This unit is dated and the bathroom is not easy for those with mobility issues. The window coverings in the bedrooms let in the light so if light sensitive it is an issue for sleeping. All that said, Maui Sands ocean front units are the place to stay! Easy walking to stores, Java Jazz live music every night, Paridiso Pizza and easy walk to the boardwalk in Kanipali. 2.5 miles to black rock for a nice 5 mile walk. Mahalo!!

Stayed Mar 21, 2022Wishing I was still there. Can the sound of waves be too loud?hehe, morning wlaks to the Sands of Kahana, swimming with a turtle between the reefs right in front of the property, whales in the distance everytime you look. Amazing. The grounds are beautiful and the location is extremely convenient. One of the BBQs wasn't good and the kitchen is a little awkward / dated but really, that's it for complaining :) Really memorable time!

Stayed Jul 22, 2019Great location! Ocean view, but some construction work going on in the complex. Nice place, love the small touches. Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels, beach towels, games, toys.
