Overall a great vacation! The location is excellent - North Woodstock with ice cream parlors, breweries and several great restaurants is a short walk away, Lincoln is a quick drive, Loon with Lift services Mountain Biking and other family activities is just a bit further on. White Mountain National Forest is also minutes away. Condo neighborhood is excellent, many amenities including on site swimming paddling pond, walking trails access to the Pemi for splashing or riding tubes in Cascade Park all walking distance from the unit. The unit itself is quiet and spacious, with the river flowing just off the deck! Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is relatively well stocked for making family meals, though most pots and pans required a good scrub before use.. Only a few details that kept this from being a 5 star stay - the condo unit is a bit aged and some of the doors drawers etc, could use some maintenance or replacement. Owner was helpful and responsive to questions or maintenance issues so overall the few minor annoyances were fine. We would certainly stay here again the next time the greater Lincoln area is on the vacation radar!
32 step up is nothing after a hike mountains.
This is a great location in Lincoln and a dog friendly property. The owner was very friendly and responsive to questions. However it’s very outdated and in poor condition. The bottoms of the dresser drawers are falling out, the drawers in the kitchen are broken, the stools at the kitchen island are not useable and are unsafe. And worst of all the mattress in the master bed room is beyond used up. It was awful and should be replaced. After 2 nights my back was so stiff I had to skip my hike and head home. We were disappointed.
We were very pleased with the apartment and the beautiful and quiet campus.
All in all stay was very nice. Kitchen cabinet drawers and sink showing signs of age; but, other than that all was as expected. Very pleased.
Fantastic resort condos. Lots of amenities and walking distance to downtown Woodstock.
It was okeyish, the apartment lacked of simple stuff in the kitchen like salt and pepper. The towels were old and stained, it was pretty embarrassing when we went to the pool with those. Also the pillows were stained (yellow). We did everything they asked for and more. (Which is not fair since we Paid a cleaning fee but whatever) Took all the sheets and towels and washed them, cleaned kitchen and bathrooms and vacuumed and still they charge me extra for cleaning. The master bed had a really tick memory foam that was imposible to sleep in because my husband and I kept rolling into each other, we decided to take it off and then it was fine. Oh, and if you like to sleep in the dark this won’t do it for you, lots of light coming through the window. Other than that, the view in the back was amazing and we were comfortable (2 adults and 6 kids).
Nice location for our hiking trip. There is a lake on the property for swimming, floating, kayaking, and/or paddle boarding. Just note you do need to bring your own equipment as the property does not have any to borrow/rent. It is a very nice area in walking distance to North Woodstock if you would like to go for souvenir shopping or ice cream. A few things could be updated to make the unit nicer, but for the price, location, and cleanliness it was great.
We love this property and go back every year!
Deer Park itself is very nice, family oriented and has easy access to other areas outside the resort. The unit itself was not at all as described. The master bed mattress was old and sagged to the middle, the carpets were stained, had burn marks and are in need of a cleaning. The couch was stained, ripped in places and dirty. The dresser shown in the pictures is old and the drawers drop out as you opened them. The kitchen chairs kept coming apart as you moved them to sit down. In fact one was held together by duct tape. Some of the plastic plates covering the electrical outlets were missing or broken where little children could put their hands into. Linens and towels were old and some of the dishes in the cabinets had food stuck to them. We had to put all fthe glasses, etc into the dishwasher and clean any small appliance that we used. We would not return to this unit again.
This was a great place to stay - plenty of room, a lovely view from the back patio, full kitchen and washer/dryer in unit. This also serves as a great departure point for the many things to see and do in the White Mountains. Highly recommend.
I love it
