Stayed Jun 5, 2023First of all, when we got to the hotel, the room code wouldn’t work so I had to call and get a new one. That took 30 mins to do while my family and elderly grandfather had to stand in the hallway of the hotel in the heat. Once we got in I realized that they didn’t have any arm bands for us or the two reflective things that goes on the dog leashes like we were supposed to have. I spent another hour and a half waiting on the staff to come back from “lunch” at 430pm so I could gather my things. Once back in the room, I did a walk around inspection. I found the microwave door to be broken to where we couldn’t even use it, the master bedroom door didn’t latch or lock, the master bathroom door didn’t latch or lock, the master bathroom toilet didn’t flush correctly, the room smelled like someone lit a full pack of cigarettes and closed all the doors, the dishwasher didn’t shut so it wouldn’t run unless you held the door shut. Also, there were painters there all week painting. On Thursday, I get a text from the Grand Panama Security asking me to move my two vehicles for the painters. I told them that I was out and wouldn’t be back until later that day. Their response to that was extremely rude and threatening. I have proof on my phone if anybody doubts that statement. Thursday when I get back to the hotel, I went to move the car. Guess what! There were no parking spots because everyone else had to move their cars! Why in the world would you hire painters in the busy season? SUCKS!!!!
