Grand Coquina - Oceanfront - #1602

Unit was nice, building and pool was nice, easy access to beach. Parking in garage was horrible, small assigned parking spot, extremely hard to get a standard size SUV in the parking space. No help from building management or leasing agent when we asked for a better parking spot.

This property is amazing. Our stay was completely stress free. The property is very clean and well maintained. We really like the covered parking. The pool is also very nice and being on the side of the building is in the sun all day. Of all the different places we have stayed in Daytona Beach Shores this is definitely our favorite.

Very enjoyable

Lovely, nicely decorated condo with beautiful view. Heated indoor pool was a benefit as it was a cool January. Very nice exercise room and weight room. Great restaurants and entertainment nearby. Could have used a little more instructions on our first day on using the garage and other facilities. Since we arrived on a weekend day, there was no one in the office to help. Had a problem with the shower and the rental office took care of it immediately. Would definitely rent again.

The property is very well kept and manicured inside and out. Nice pool area; very clean. Location is excellent. Would highly recommend.

So much loveliness with a superficial gloss of luxury within the condo; examples: living room furniture looked great until you sat on it then needed help to get out of the squish; TV visible from one seat only in the room; threadbare sheets (pretty but so old the elastic didn't hold the sheet on the bed). We were excited to enjoy 2 pools (indoor & outdoor) and a hot tub (highly touted when we were planning our visit) -- the indoor pool & hot tub were unusable, had been closed for months (leasing agent should have been aware of that and not sold that perk so highly), outdoor pool was heated and lovely after our third (!) week there, accessed only through the parking garage (found that out many days into our stay). Had to ask a resident how to get to the outside pool and access the beach (through the garage). Check-in involved being handed a set of keys and a garage clicker, no explanations. Figured out by ourselves which key opened what door, it wasn't explained that we needed to check-in with onsite management (a few days in to our stay a pleasant man at the desk firmly stopped me and asked who I was and why I was there), when our vehicle wasn't able to fit under the garage door we just used on-site parking (unaware that we needed to register for that too and get a placard). We were both pleased with the exercise facilities and the level of cleanliness throughout. Practically perfect location with amazing views that made all I've previously said here almost worth the exorbitant price.

This property was spacious and lovely! Loved its decor, cleanliness and location! It was so convenient to walk to some places. Listening to the surf each night was relaxing. Although only my husband and I stayed in it, it would have been plenty of space for two more others!!

The only drawback was that direct access to the beach from the pool area was closed for repairs. Otherwise it was a perfect experience. The office was helpful and the facilities were top-notch.

After years of staying in the same-looking condos we picked this one for it's unique decor. We had so much fun in this condo and really loved the layout of furniture- especially the bar. All of our friends and I agreed it was the most fun we've all had in a condo rental.
