Gorgeous Waikiki Ocean View! Full Kitchen, Free Wi-Fi, Close to Beach!

Location and view was great! Well appointed unit and easy check in/check out.The bathtub doesn’t drain which grosses me out standing in ankle deep water, might not bother others. Fan in bathroom doesn’t work. Should be easy maintenance fixes.

I can’t review the actual room, as it was flooded by a previous guest. Upon arrival I called to check in and found out they could offer a different room lower in the building that was comparable. I suppose I’ll never know but the room we were moved too was dated, the door looked to be kicked in and poorly repaired, along with a air leak in the sliding door, leaving a constant whistling.While the host was very responsive and kind and attempted to rid us of the whistling, I just don’t know that the room was comparable. I wouldn’t have paid as much as I had for this room. We had already landed, the week of Christmas with no real other options, we took what was offered.

Reviewer Comments: We try to come to Waikiki once a year, and have stayed at Waikiki Sunset a few times, this was 2nd time using Captain Cook, but first time in 3704. We stay there for the ocean view, price, location, spacious condos, full kitchens, private lanais, free phone calls, both local & to Canada/mainland US, and free parking. 3704 has the best view of all we have stayed in. A few negatives that may/may not bother other people. The king size mattress needs replacing, seemed very old, both sides are very compressed, you really sink down a lot, more than any hotel/condo mattress we have ever slept on. We could even see the indents when first walking into the bdrm, but down the middle was normal, the padded mattress cover didn't help. Hated the high (tall) chairs on the lanai, regular, hotel type balcony chairs that you sit down into, your feet touch the floor, and you can stretch your legs out and relax in would be a 100% better. We used the kitchen a lot, but only microwave safe bowls were cereal/soup size, a 2, 3, or even 4 quart size would have been nice for cooking. There was no dish drying rack either. We would have prefered regular cable tv with local channels like KGMB, KITV, KHNL etc instead of just streaming tv. We will stay at Waikiki Sunset again, and might consider 3704 again.

The place is very clean and very well equiped. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Checking in and out was very easy and everything worked. Our highlight was the view over Waikiki and Honolulu from the 37th floor. We can highly recommend Captain Cook.

This condo has awesome views and was very clean. The only thing that I found that needed to be upgraded was the shower head. It didn't spray good and it felt like pins and needles hitting your body. The chairs on the lanai were hard to get up or down in as they didn't swivel to make it easier.Walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants.Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. .

We had a great experience at this property. The self check-in process was very simple thanks to detailed instructions provided by the host. The condo was very clean and had a FANTASTIC view of Waikiki beach and Diamondhead. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach (and even shorter walk to the nearest ABC Store). Very convenient location for catching day tours, renting a scoot coupe, and places to eat. We did not have a car and walked for most of our trip. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Stayed at this property for a week. Very clean and had stunning views from the 37th floor. Great area, with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Beach is within walking distance. We didnt use the pool but did go down & look at it. Its a nice pool, with bbq set ups. Great A/C and balcony. Water pressure was good to be so high up. Bed was comfy, pillows were a little on the flat side. Definitely well worth the cost!
