Enjoy breathtaking sunsets on the 600ft sandy beach of East Grand Traverse Bay with a natural wooded setting. Completely renovated, our 1 bedroom condo at the shores is spacious and contemporary. Large deck with infrared BBQ, and tiki bar to enjoy the view. Two Flat screen TVs (cable included) in bedroom and family areas. Full bath with vanity area. Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove. Overlooking Grand Traverse Bay in a setting of towering pines, a flowing stream, and a beautiful sandy beach. Our ground-floor condo is located on East Grand Traverse Bay at the intersection of US31 and M72.
Pool access: This is a wonderful location regardless, however frustrating for all involved; this past year, the Resort that owns the pool put some strict policies in place only allowing guests that book directly through them or use it - even we as owners can't use it. That said, the beach is gorgeous, but they also host weddings there sometimes - however, you can walk along the beach to the left, and it extends to a public beach which is lovely too, and you'll always have access there.
There is one little semi-workaround if you really want a pool; you can book a spa treatment at the Grand Traverse Resort, and you'll receive access to the pool and facilities for the rest of the day. Just request the code to access the pool/locker rooms, and you'll be able to use their indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, tennis courts, etc.
You also already have access to their shops, restaurants, and golf.

We welcome you with open arms!
The exterior of this property had not been cared for. The pavement was filthy, the lounge chairs old, filthy and falling apart, the pool closed and the fire pit not open. The place felt like it hadn't been cared for properly in 20 years. The exterior of the building was covered in dirt and cobwebs. The inside of our unit needed cared for as well - broken doorknobs, wallpaper with water marks and buckling from wall, etc. Glad it was just my husband and I so kids were not disappointed. Glad we only had to sleep here. Would not come back. It's a shame because we used to stay in these condos years ago when our kids were little and they were awesome. Just entire Grand Traverse Resort property has not been cared for.
Great location and view. Really enjoyed our stay. One hand towel for 3 people was challenging and there was a strict towel policy that we didn't quite understand. Could have used more dish towels and wash cloths too. Bought more towels at local Meijer just up the road. Stove top did not work well. Light coming in above the front door into eyes of person sleeping on the couch was a problem. Some curtains on that window would have helped. All other units had blinds on their window above the entry door. Overall very pleased and great place to stay.
Location of condo was good, but condo needed to be painted. The height of bed and toilet were unacceptable, and sofa was very worn. The interior doors did not shut well either. Would not recommend condo.
Comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, great home base for our trip.
cobwebs and dust everywhere. was cleaner when we left. Also so far have not returned my cleaning deposit
The place is a part of the Great Bear resort which is literally a 2min stroll to the sea shore. The place also had boat and kayak rentals which made the vacation more fun. The place was well maintained and the host was quick to respond to all our questions. I would go back for a second time for sure!!
Overall the place was good. Just a note that the bed sits almost on the floor and not good for the more aged folks to get up and out of it. Also, the management locks the thermostat so you are not able to adjust it yourself...not a good thing.
Everything was prefect
Great location, disappointing that the resort chose to not open the pool at the shores this year
This condo was fantastic, clean, comfortable, etc
We really enjoyed our short stay. It’s such a cute little apartment. The views are amazing. Spent some time watching sunsets on the beach. Which is in walking distance. The kitchen is small but we didn’t find that to be a problem. Because of the prime location we had plenty of restaurants to order take out from. We loved eating dinner on the patio. It’s a great spot for a weekend of R&R.
Perfect for our short kid-free vacation.
