Stayed Jan 10, 2025Had to go through snow banks up 3 flights of stairs with luggage, dangerous! In the search engine in finding a ski in and wood burning fireplace this place showed up which is why we booked it! Only to get there and you could not use the fireplace! And we had to have maintenance come and get our tv working, the last time they came they said they had reported this issue and the owners were doing nothing about it. So we ended up leaving a day earlier all of the frustrations we had and were occurring. The ski in / out was awesome but that was the only great part and the people at the Mountain Neer Lodge we’ve used VRBO for years and years and this was our first bad experience unfortunately, we will continue to use them in the future!were very helpful and nice!

Stayed Feb 25, 2021This might have been the best ski experience of my life. Great location, great weather, and great conditions. That said, it was the worst check-in of my life. Since we didn't get any specifics from VRBO, we drove to our building and found no place to check in. I checked the VRBO ap and it gave another address (701 Gothic Rd) so we went there. The closed office had an after-hours phone in the lobby. I called and the girl who answered didn't know anything about us and said we had to contact VRBO. I sent a message on the ap and reread all the previous messages. In one of them there was a mention of a phone number to call if we had trouble. I called it and found that we had to check in at the Plaza Hotel desk (no mention of the Plaza prior to this). We got our keys at the Plaza and bad instructions on how to get to our condo. The lift-side condo requires trucking your luggage over the snow and only the next day did we find a much easier way to get there. Once we got there we had a wonderful week.
