New York, New York
Gorgeous recently renovated condo with high ceilings, hard wood floors, brownstone walls, and large windows looking out into the wide, tree-filled Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. The spacious living room includes all amenities, including a large open kitchen, an 8 to 10-person dining table, a kitchen island with a bar, and a projector-screen combo in place of a TV. The apartment has two bedrooms with queen beds and two full bathrooms. There is a gym in the building, a rooftop, a playroom, a package room, and a virtual doorman. The building is extremely safe and our neighbors friendly.
Our apartment is super comfortable and unusually large for NYC (1100 sq.f.) and has everything you need. Both bedrooms are quiet even though the apartment is located in the middle of a lively neighborhood. We are a short walk away from Central Park and the Hudson River, and a short bike ride away from all the hotspots of the city. We are surrounded by several subway and bus stops which allow you to get to the Village in just 15 minutes, completely replacing the need for a car! If you do have a car, it's easy to park it in our area.
South Harlem is the best place to be in Manhattan right now. It houses an international artistic community as well as numerous young families. Historically it is also the heart of Jazz life, which continues to live strong through the famous Minton's Playhouse, which is just across the boulevard from our apartment. There is a bar, coffee, and tea shop in the same building. Numerous wonderful restaurants and retail stores surround the area. The neighborhood is full of street life, music, and art. The apartment is located close to the Columbia University and CUNY campuses, as well as several of New York City's largest parks, the Guggenheim and Metropolitan museums, Jazz clubs, and art galleries.
