Stayed Mar 13, 2026Very clean, great layout, bonus backyard for the dog to explore. Super easy check out system. We lived our stay here. Very quiet. A bit of a jaunt to galena shopping but not an issue. Thanks for a lovely get away!

King Bed and pillows wonderful. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware needed. I brought my own food and spices. There is wood for fireplace and propane gas grill, I didn’t use either this trip. Back of home overlooks golf course so sitting on back deck was lovely, lots of birds to observe. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Reviewer Comments: We come up to Galena every year usually staying at another location but that was occupied during the time we wanted to come up. This property is identical to the other unit, so we decided on staying here. Everything was great with all the amenities within. The only issue was the number of trees directly in back of the deck blocking out any view of the golf course. We understand this as while walking the area we noticed a few broken windows due to stray balls hit from the tee box. Other than that, the stay was GREAT!

Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect spot for a weekend get away for 2 adults and our 2 dogs. The house was the perfect size and the location was great for getting out into nature. The owner was very responsive and answered questions quickly! We did cook a bit and realized we didn't bring some basics. If you plan on it bring along some basic supplies like salt, pepper, oil and storage items.
