The property is even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was wonderful. There aren't many places to eat on the island so I would recommend packing a lot more food. Otherwise, Susan was wonderful and very responsive when we had questions. I look forward to staying there again!
We can’t say enough about this place and Susan! You cannot fake sincere and Susan IS sincere and attentive, to the point that our sons fishing rod broke and her husband gave our kids one of his!! As close to a private beach in the summer as we have ever seen. Condos were nice, great HVAC, beach was clean, private and accommodating. Low tide and pluff mud isnt great but that’s it! Shore fishing was outstanding and kids loved it. Pool felt great and golf carts are absolutely necessary. Food/grocery selection is very limited but bring supplies and you don’t have to worry! Primary tip - Pack 1/2 or less the amt. of clothing you normally take and double or triple the amt. of food supplies you normally take.
This condo and our family trip to Daufuskie was absolutely amazing! The condo is so much more beautiful in real life than what the pictures depict....It feels like a tropical destination. We stayed in this space with our family of 5 (3 boys ages 2, 5, 7). It is so spacious, clean, and feels well cared for (updated and maintained)! It is also very quiet. We spent much of our time on the covered balcony. The view is spectacular (all hours of the day/night), and it is huge! Our family enjoyed running from the pool to the beach throughout the day. There were quite a few times we were the only people in either place! It was great to have beach chairs, floats, and beach toys right at the front door. It was also really helpful and convenient to have ground transportation to and from the ferry dock. Susan had the golf cart we rented through her ready to go upon arrival. We fell in love with Daufuskie on our first trip, and really hope to be back!!! This place is special!
We had such a wonderful time and would definitely use Mrs. Susan again!
Property manager couldn’t have been better.
Our family of 6, including children, parents and grandparents, enjoyed our week on Daufuskie Island. The condo was very clean and well appointed. Aside from a few light bulbs out and a pitcher to make iced tea, we had everything we needed. The views from the unit were beautiful and we loved spending our mornings out there with coffee. Plenty of towels, beach towels and beach chairs. Our only recommendations for the owners would be extra bed pillows and more lighting above the dining table. Once the sun started to set behind the building around 6pm, it got dark in the main living space, which made it hard to enjoy dinner and games around the table in the evening. The property manager, Susan, was knowledgeable, although a little hard to get in touch with, but nothing emergent was needed. I highly recommend contacting Lori at The Nauti Butler for grocery needs prior to arrival off island. She will shop and deliver your order to the marina/dock in Savannah. We also had a wonderful experience with Dan from Island Shuttle Boat Tours for private water transportation from Savannah to the island. The trip was enjoyable, beautiful and full of area knowledge. We meal planned for each day/night before traveling, put in a ClickList at Kroger, and Lori picked it up, packed it and delivered it to the marina before we departed for the island. We all left feeling very relaxed and refreshed, agreeing we'd be back next year!
Wonderful place!
Perfect place to rest and relax! Will stay again and bring friends next time!
A beautiful condo with a fantastic balcony overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable both inside and out. The layout was great for our group with each bedroom having its own bath. The pool and grounds are well-kept. We were very pleased and would heartily recommend it to others.
