    This condo is located in a beautiful area, close to the Queen's marketplace and the Kings shops. Within walking distance to the ocean and the Hilton. We loved our stay here.

    Overall we were very pleased with our stay in this 1980s/1990s condo at Waikoloa beach resort, an easy walk to ‘A-Bay. The photos of the unit are very accurate. The unit is large, our group of 4 adults were very comfortable here with the space available, both indoors and on the spacious balcony, from which we watched the beautiful sunrises and gorgeous colourful skies after sunset, and took in the marvel of Mauna Kea and Hualalai mountains. The bed and bath linens are high quality and the central air conditioning kept us comfortable. The unit was surface clean, and the kitchen well appointed, making cooking meals easy. The location is fantastic, with beaches, shops, and restaurants nearby. Some of the furniture is in need of replacement, but it would be hard to find a better value at Waikoloa beach.

    Beautiful place! Feels like home. A very good location. Large, clean quiet on a 3-rd floor. Almost private balcony you can do sunbathing in the morning. Spectacular mounting view! Lot of household items, full kitchen. New beach chairs. Very good quality new bedding and towels. Parking place is large and very close to the house. . Large swimming pool, well equipped Exercise room. Lot of trees birds and flowers around buildings. Surroundings are nice and quiet. 15 minutes to the Beach 69 and 18 minutes to Hapuna State Beach. Walking distance (20 min) to the Dolphin point. 15 minutes to the shopping center.

    Very sunny, clean, and private. Full of space, very well equipped, full of household items; linens are new. Enjoyable sunrises, mountain view. Best Place to stay. We have enjoyed this place. Mirrors on the wall makes the place big and shiny. We will definitely recommend this place for a family stay.

    The condo is in need of a good cleaning and renovation. -The walls have food and spill stains on them -The baseboards and doors are filthy with dust and black grim -The sliding mirror closet door won;t even open because it is off the tracks -The sliding exterior door is rusted and the latch won't lock' -We couldn't use the outdoor grill area because the doors and floor were covered with bird droppinggs -Also couldn't use bedroom patio door because the area was covered in bird droppings -Bathroom cabinets were full of previous occupants used toiletries. -The shower curtains and mats had mold on them

    We loved The Shores for location and amenities. The unit has a great L shaped lanai ,large enough to move around according to sun and wind.It is also very private.and fairly quiet..We enjoyed many meals on the lanai watching the golfers and the beautiful sunset. I agree with previous comments that this condo is dated and requires some upgrades…the old bathtubs are difficult to get in and out of safely for a shower.At least one shower unit would be nice instead.The sinks and tubs are badly stained with the hard water.The dining set requires repairs or replacement.We notified the owner and she was surprised at the disrepair..The grill on the lanai was so worn and dirty we couldn’t use it. Fortunately a community bbq is close by. We really try to look after the places we rent and Iwould have liked more cleaning supplies,and a swiffer or mop .for the floors. With regards to Love rentals ,I was not pleased that when we had to change our rental from 27 days to 26 days ,well within the “ free cancellation “ time period, Love Rentals merely increased the daily rate so that the total rent remained the same. During our stay all the codes were changed and we were not notified. Love Rentals said the Property management had not informed them. I booked with VRBO because I have had good experience with them previously but with Love Rentals,Property Management, VRBO and the owners it seemed like too many people were involved or rather not involved.

    This is definitely an older complex. This unit has a great view and a nice large lanai. But everything really needs to be updated! Low counters in the bathrooms, old cabinets, and a master bed that are two twins put together! Not comfortable. Old LR furniture that you sink down in. Not sure I’d stay here again
