Beautiful well appointed condo that was comfortable and perfect for 3 ladies on girls weekend.Great location and an easy walk to the beach

Perhaps the most strategic plave in Nags Head! Beachfront and near great places to eat. Very clean and the host was super - responsive. Will be back!

An older unit that needs refurbishing. Stains on sofas. Carpeting old and worn. Did not feel comfortable there at all. Would not have booked if I had seen beforehand. Host responded well and location was good

Very nice condo on the beach. First floor had only a view of the dune, but quite convenient.

Perfect Spot, right on the beach

Everything was fantastic! The apartment was large, clean, and very well located. While we were on the first floor and could not see the ocean, we could hear it while we slept and getting to the beach was a one minute walk. Everything about the apartment was excellent! We all are sad that we are not still there! We hope to come back sometime soon!

Beach access was easy, interior of space is well updated. Maintenance and owner communication was real good. Appliances and furnishings worked well. Glad we chose to stay there.

My family had a fantastic stay over Memorial Day weekend. The condo was very clean. It is in a perfect location, easy beach access and we didn’t even mind only having a dune view. The property owners were very helpful with recommendations and quick to answer questions. Highly recommend!

We booked a 10 night stay at this property. The secondary bedroom was flooded upon arrival. After 3 days of trying to convince the host to address the situation, we were asked to vacate the property for a refund. The host gave us an hour to leave with the promise of a refund for the remaining 7 days. What a joke, the refund was not even half of our initial payment.

Our family stayed at the writers retreat over Easter Weekend. The place is beautiful and so convenient to the beach, restaurants and the shoreline. Can't recommend it enough. The comms with the landlords was excellent and they went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. Would gladly stay again if in the Nags Head area.

It is hard to find properties right on the beach, and this property was right there and did not disappoint! Host communicated promptly always, super easy check in and out process. The stay came with lots of extras you don't normally have at a rental. Overall, fantastic and relaxing experience! We will book again when we go back!

Nice to have two separate beds in extra bedroom for two adult sons.

This is the second time we have spent Thanksgiving in this condo. Well furnished and well equipped with anything you need. Good location too! Only complaint was the coffee pot…we were not used to this model and could not find any instructions. We finally figured it out. The door lock was rather difficult to see at night, but we managed. Thanks for this lovely rental!

Wonderful stay for a girls weekend! Perfect location and nice accommodations

Perfect spot ... beach walks, sunrises and star gazing a few steps away. The sounds of the sea soothing one to sleep! This was an awesome condo for a get away. Also recommend a meal at Noosa Beach Cafe and a sit on the upper deck enjoying a craft brew at Swels'a Brewery. wonderful time!

Great place to visit.

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our time, relaxing and watching the grass along the dunes sway in the wind. Very peaceful ? great location to explore the Outer Banks in either direction.

This little gem is right on the beach although the dunes obstruct the first floor view of the ocean. You still get the sounds of the ocean. Owners stated they do not provide beach chairs or umbrellas. Thankfully some kind soul had left a beach chair and umbrella. If owners are unwilling to provide chairs maybe provide a list of recommended rental sources. The unit was nicely furnished and clean. Although I was taken aback by an envelope left by the cleaners for a tip. As large cleaning fees are included; I've never experienced this before in an of my VRBO stays. I was told this is now quite common and was optional.

Perfect 2 bed, 2 bath condo on the beach.

Writer’s Retreat was very clean and in the perfect location for us! We loved staying on the beach and the condo was the perfect size for us! The back patio was the perfect size as well! It is a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors! There is plenty to do, see and lots of places to eat close by, which we loved! We have nothing bad to say about the stay! We definitely recommend staying here!

The location is perfect: convenient to everything, yet not in the middle of everything. Being right on the beach - with a lifeguard stand right there - is key.

This was our first OBX vacation but hopefully not our last! We went with another couple and loved our stay. The beach and weather were amazing. The condo couldn't have been in a better location. Because it is on the first floor of the building you can't see the beach due to the dune, but it is still relaxing to sit on the patio in the morning with your coffee and listen to the ocean. Beach access is right next to the condo building and the building offers an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off on your way back. Was perfect! The unit was plenty big for the four of us and had what we needed in the kitchen to cook a couple nights. The owners and property managers were very nice and responsive. One thing to note, however, we needed to supply our own paper goods (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue), hand soap, laundry soap, etc. I'd also bring extra towels next time as only one set per person was provided and because it's the beach... things don't hang dry that quickly! All in all - was a great stay!

Condo was great location was prefect and food was amazing. Even got to see 6 dolphins playing while we were at the beach one of the days.

It is a beautiful place on the beach—a good size for my friend and me. It is a ground-floor condo building next to other rental homes. The condo was clean and supplied to get you started with your stay. Another nice amenity—bed sheets came with the rental.
