Welcome to your Mammoth Lakes basecamp! This 1BR/1BA condominium sleeps up to 4 and puts you a short walk from The Village at Mammoth and winter gondola access.



The Space:

Perfect for a small family or a couple of friends, this comfortable condo offers a simple, well-equipped home base close to everything. The living area has plush seating around a cozy fireplace and a TV with an Xbox and DVD player, plus WiFi for easy streaming and staying connected. A sleeper sofa accommodates two additional guests.

An updated kitchen with ample counter space makes meal prep easy, and the adjacent dining table seats four. Slide open the doors to the balcony for fresh mountain air and a glimpse of the surrounding peaks. Down the hall, you’ll find the bedroom with a Queen bed and a mounted TV, and a full bathroom located just across the hallway. Community conveniences include one underground parking space, shared laundry facilities, a clubhouse with ping pong, and seasonal BBQ stations.

Important Things to Note

• Stairs: Stairs are required to access this home (please see photos for reference).

• WiFi: Provided, but due to Mammoth Lakes’ remote mountain location, speed and reliability can vary and are not guaranteed.

• Parking: One vehicle only in the assigned underground space (#108). Look for the Fireside Village parking entrance sign on the right-hand side.

• Communal amenities: Shared laundry facilities and a clubhouse with ping pong are available. BBQ stations are open in summer only.

• Pool/spa/sauna closure: The indoor spa, indoor swimming pool, and two saunas are closed until further notice due to snow-related structural damage; the HOA is still evaluating repairs.

• Pets: This home is not pet friendly. Evidence of pets may result in additional cleaning fees.

• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

• If available, early check-in/late checkout may be considered; requests must be made by 10:00 AM the day prior to departure and may incur a fee (up to $60 depending on hours requested).

• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

• We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

• Salt, pepper, and cooking oil are not provided unless otherwise noted.

Location logistics: An easy walk to The Village and gondola access in winter.     Great value for the location. In the village with easy access to canyon lodge via the gondola. The kitchen was fully furnished with more than expected appliances and kitchenware. Would love to stay here again

    The location is centrally located in Mammoth with access to major restaurants and sops within walking distance. The facility was very clean and well kept. The only negative was the noisy stomping of people above us on the second floor in the evenings. Not sure if a curfew could be imposed.

    Our stay began with the management company failing to give us the code to enter the garage. It took several phone calls to remedy this, as it took many phone calls to remedy all of the many problems with the unit. The management company customer service appears to be out of the USA, and thus its resolution reflected this. Everything electrical in the unit malfunctioned. The T.V. Cable, Wifi, and everything else is connected with a very fragile, overly complicated nigh mare of wires, with no instructions at all. There is no way to figure out how to use the T.V. , cable, phone system, or anything else. the Wifi was on and off. When I call the management company, they could not figure out how to fix anything. Besides the great location, the one high mark is the great kitchen. Other than that, you are led to believe that tis property is part of the Village at mammoth, it is not. It has covered, but not secured parking, that is not connected to the unit, we still had to walk a considerable distance to get to the unit, this is not disclosed. The bed is horribly soft, and uncomfortable. the couch in the living room is also very uncomfortable. There is virtually no water pressure in this unit. I have never seen such poor water pressure. Due to the location, I would stay here again, if the owners decided to put some money into the unit, and hired a different management company l

    It's not glamorous or beautiful, but it's very nice and perfect for a father son ski trip. I wouldn't expect the most affordable place in the neighborhood to be perfect. I appreciate a little bit of corner cutting to keep the price down. Not that the place is dated. The kitchen is clearly new, and everything is in perfect working order. The walk to the gondola couldn't be any shorter, so the location was perfect for us. I appreciate that the checkout procedure is essentially just lockup and turn the heat down. Lots of places expect you to do the housekeeping you paid for.In short, it was exactly what we wanted.

    Overall great stay - super close to the Village for rentals, food, child care and gondola. Very secure and warm parking. Only wish is that they allowed earlier check in - I was at the structure well before 4pm and saw the cleaning people leave the unit, but no one pinged me to inform me that I could get in early (even though they said they'd lmk if unit was accessible before 4pm).

    Love location to village, underground parking, and well stocked condo. Condo was clean with recent upgrades. Close enough to walk to the gondola in our ski boots. And steps to the jacuzzi. Property management was very responsive. Thank you for having a humidifier!! Bring your ground coffee, not pods :) We really enjoyed our stay!

    The property is conveniently located next to the Village, so it's a short walk to the gondola and restaurants. The condo has a very well-appointed kitchen that made meal prep easy. Clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained.
