Fabulous Condo - Million Dollar Ocean View -

Lido Key is a great location, about 3 minutes drive to St. Armond’s circle, 15 minutes to downtown Sarasota. Given the nearby beach, restaurants and cultural offerings, this lovely apartment is a real find! This one and one-half bath 10th floor apartment has many terrific features: faces the Gulf with no other building blocking the view of the beach below or the water (spectacular sunsets!); balcony; spacious living room with large bedroom; hide-a-bed sofa in living room; separate kitchen with breakfast nook seating and plenty of pots and pans plus serving pieces and plates, glasses, etc.; adequate linens and kitchen towels; comfortable king-size bed; a Bose radio/CD player, Wi-Fi, TV with cable service and computer printer. The apartment is directly across the hall from a laundry room which is, like the entire condo, very well maintained. (The condo residents are friendly, too.) One needed item is an additional table lamp for reading in the living room. And there is no land-line phone. Otherwise, negatives are hard to find.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friend of the owner and she was very helpful in getting us settled. Note that the condo building has twenty four seven security. You cannot get in without a special magnetic device, so make arrangements to be greeted by someone or make sure you have the contact info for management to let you in. We were given the “cooks tour” by out greeter, including the common community areas within the Regency Lido property, the pool area and of course the condo unit. The unit was very clean and well stocked, including kitchen utensils, bathroom towels, beach towels, blankets and linens. If you plan on spending time on the beach bring your own beach chairs and umbrella. Lounges are provided in the pool area. The furnishings in the condo are exactly as shown in the pictures. Being on the tenth floor you have a magnificent view of the gulf and great sunsets from the balcony every night. This condo does not have a washer-dryer in the unit. We found this to be only a minor inconvenience because there is a utility room on each floor of the condo building. As luck would have it the utility room is right across the hall from the unit. This is really a wonderful place!! The building and area are well taken care of. Security is tight. The condo building is right on the beach. It’s only a short distance to St Armand’s circle, which is an upscale shopping area with many first class restaurants. The owner/operator was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful visit.

We enjoyed this condo- great location- near the famous Ritz Tikki bar- and walking distance to St. Armand Cr.- The condo - exquisitely decorated. The view from balcony- magnificent sunsets and sunrise. Lido Regency building very well maintain with all amenities such as heated pool, spa, workout facility and sauna. Very reasonable price for this condo. We will come and stay again.

Amazing accomodation by the beach with a truly peaceful, gorgeous view of the ocean!!! I had an incredible week! The beach is unbeliavably clear, the sand is havenly white. It's just like the pictures!!! Would definitely come back!
