SETTING THE STAGE:
If you are not from Colorado you may not know the lay of the land. Allow us to introduce you! Our home is located in Summit County most famously known for mountain towns that carry different names but are really more like sprawling suburbs. Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone, and Frisco make up the largest geography. Breckenridge is located ten minutes South of Frisco. Vail is located twenty-five minutes West of Frisco over Vail Pass. If you would like to ski on multiple mountains Silverthorne, Dillon and Keystone are the best locations to rent. These lively towns are also packed with restaurants, pubs, and shopping.
WINTER RUNDOWN: There is a FREE Summit Stage local bus in Silverthorne that takes people to Keystone, Frisco, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. It stops just outside our door. Of course you want to come to the mountains in the winter! KEYSTONE 10 miles: Keystone is a popular resort with a charming ski town and wonderful little back bowls. It has a large terrain park and many twists and turns to its runs. COPPER 14 miles: Copper is a quiet family friendly mountain with fewer tourists. LOVELAND 14 miles: Loveland is often peppered with young families teaching their children how to ski or board. A-BASIN 15 miles: A-Basin is considered a locals mountain with snow boarders galore. It has a Rastafarian feel and a young crowd. BRECKENRIDGE 18 miles: Breckenridge is a classic resort. It has many long wide runs and is a long time tourist favorite. VAIL 33 miles: Vail is a posh resort tucked 25 minutes West of Summit County and home to the best back bowls anyone could every hope to ski or board. Vail village is a sprawling little town full of high end shopping, restaurants and pubs. BEAVER CREEK 45 miles: Beaver Creek is a charming posh resort another 15 minutes West of Vail. - If winter resorts don't suite your fancy, there is winter tubing, ice skating, or shopping minutes away. We love to hike in the winter so put on your boots and drive up Buffalo mountain two minutes to find many trail heads. There is also a charming trail that runs through the ravine right out our back doorstep!
SUMMER TIME: We love summer almost more than winter in Summit County. Dillon has a beautiful marina ten minutes away where you can go sailing and paddle boarding. You can also find yourself rafting down Colorado rivers but keep in mind this is best during June to mid August when the river water is warmer. Attend concerts or local shows at the Dillon Amphitheater. Many ski towns and resorts put on concerts in the summer. Hiking and mountain biking trails are everywhere! There is nothing like the smell of fresh pine in the summer!
A WORD ABOUT ALTITUDE: Our condo is located ~9,600 feet above sea level on Buffalo Mountain in Silverthorne, CO. This is 1000 ft above the city elevation. Some people may experience mild altitude sickness for the first day which may include headache and fatigue if coming from sea level . Stay well hydrated! Yes, drink one glass of water every two hours. Altitude will amplify the effects of alcohol as well as hangovers. The treatment for all altitude sickness is to descend to lower altitude if you continue to feel worse.

Great location Plenty of space Kids loved the pool Close to outdoor mall
This is the second time we stayed here this summer. Great communication from the managers, really convenient to everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!
We stayed at this property for a quick weekend getaway to the mountains. The owners were lightning quick in their communication, and the condo was just as we expected. Lots of beds, supplies were stocked, and stunning views. We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed the space, plenty of room to spread out. Owner very responsive.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
Great central locations for friends to stay on a skiing trip
We had a group of 6 guys age 19-64 and had plenty of room. The kitchen was a good size, the TV room had comfortable seating and there ae plenty of nice, large beds. The hosts answered questions quickly but the pre-visit instructions really answered most questions. We were near some great skiing and good restaurants and the hot tub and sauna were welcome retreats after a long day on the slopes. We did not expect to be cooking as much as we did, but the kitchen was a great layout for us. And the parking lot was huge. Easily could have brought 4 cars and found plenty of spaces available. Hoping to be back here again in the future.
Wonderful location, very clean, owner is very responsive! Our large group would definitely stay again!
We had a great experience and enjoyed our stay. Please take note of the altitude and plan accordingly. thank you for everything!

The condo has plenty of rooms and beds. The location is great, 10 mins to Copper mountain and A Basin ski resort. We have 8 people and we all enjoy staying here. Also the spa and pool in the clubhouse is definetly a bonus!
We stayed here for two nights. It's beautiful and cozy. Amazing views and plenty of room for lots or people. We only had 5 women stay here and it was a great experience. Definitely planning our next visit and bringing more ppl. Loved the pool and hot tub as well! Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend
We really enjoyed staying here! Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay in Silverthorne, CO. The condo had plenty of room for my husband and our 3 girls. I felt at home and had everything I needed. My husband was training for a mountain bike race and had easy access to trails to ride. We usually saw a deer or 2 in the morning with our coffee. Would love to stay here again.
The unit was perfect for our large group, and the hosts were very communicative. Highly recommend this home.
