The room was beautiful and well appointed with everything needed. It is directly on the beach with stunning views of the ocean from the balcony. But our stay was a nightmare. When we arrived the AC was not working at all. Maintenance attempted to repair it but they were not able to do so. We spent our 3 days there in August without air conditioning. Clearly the compressor was shot and had probably not been functioning correctly for some time. On the second day they informed us that a toilet was leaking into the room below and they had to shut it off rather than fix it. The third night there was a false fire alarm at 4 AM. Residents living there told us it happens frequently. Although we had purchased a parking spot and were parked in our assigned spot our car was booted because we did not have our permit displayed correctly in the windshield. The cost to get it unbooted was $100.00 only payable in cash. We were compensated 8% of the rental cost for our troubles. It may have just been bad luck but it made for a miserable stay.
Beautiful end unit in the Golden Sands. The unit was updated, clean and tastefully decorated. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths at a great price. Vacasa included all linens and even a bag of essentials (dish soap, laundry detergent, TP, etc.). Thanks for a great, stress-free stay.
A corner unit not directly facing the ocean even though it is listed as ocean front. The front door is at the end of a VERY dark hallway without adequate lighting to see the tiny keypad making entry difficult. There was only 1 key for all 4 adults to share. Annoying. There was also only 1 TV remote for all four TV sets. RIDICULOUS! The TVs did not even work when we arrived and it took a day and a half after our complaint to have a handyman come in. The view from the balcony is partially obstructed by the high-rise next door; impossible to watch the sunrise. Condo layout is good, but it is showing years of wear and tear with cracked grout in the bathroom and multiple scrapes on the walls. The bed was not attached to the headboard in my room, so it moved every time I tried to get in or out. The bed itself was positioned so that it entirely blocked the huge closet, making it unusable. The nightstand was filthy; the envelope from the previous renter was still on the dresser in my room, black hair was shoved into in the corners of the bathroom, and the stench of the trash shoot smacks you in the face when exiting out the front door. YUCK! Definitely NOT the luxury experience I expected for the premium price I paid.
It was very nice to come in to a clean unit.! Beds were made and towels were out all the way down to toilet paper!! All we had to do was enjoy the view and relax. One downside, window coverings were not in the best shape.
We were supposed to be able to check in at 4 when we got to the room the lock was broke on the door so I had to call maintenance to come and fix it. It was very hot and elevators were running extremely slow. It was close to 6 pm before we entered the room. The lady I spoke to at Vacesa said I would be compensated but haven't heard anything. Also the curtains in the rooms need to be repaired and the toilet seat in the master bedroom is destroyed. We enjoyed our stay but would like to hear something back from Vacesa

We loved everything about it stay. The condo was clean and well equipped with everything you need. The view was amazing and it was quiet. Everyone was very nice. The pool we refreshing and the drinks at the tiki bar were reasonable and delicious. I would love to stay again. My only complaint would be the elevators. On Saturdays it was a long wait but every other day was fine.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, place was clean and furniture was nice. Very spacious with three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Balconies were very nice. On site amenities were convenient (pools, food, outdoor games, tennis courts, etc.). Would have been nice to have hot water for the washing machine for towels, etc. Master bathroom toilet seat was foam with tears in it which was just gross. When we arrived, lock box did not open which was very inconvenient. Fortunately, staff came in about 30-40 minutes to let us in. Would stay here again.
The home was nice once you got inside. The toilet seat was broken in one of the bathrooms. However, the outside of the hotel was dated and could use some updates.
The layout was perfect for our group, and that’s the main reason we chose this unit. Also, that it didn’t require a week-long stay. The unit was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. There may have been some things in the unit that were undergoing maintenance or needed repair, such as the screen door. Note that you will need to bring your beach chairs and umbrellas, and possibly a small fan for the smallest bedroom as it gets warm in there during the day.
