    Our recent stay at the resort offered a mixed bag of experiences. On a positive note, the resort itself was genuinely nice, and our kids absolutely adored the pool area designed for them. These aspects certainly made our family time enjoyable. In fact, despite some significant drawbacks with our specific accommodation, we'd be open to staying at the resort again, but we would definitely book with a host other than Southern Vacations next time. However, our particular unit presented numerous challenges, largely due to misleading information, excessive noise, and a frustrating list of maintenance issues.Firstly, reaching our 3rd floor unit was a confusing ordeal. The advertised floor didn't correspond to the parking garage; instead, it involved navigating a maze of multiple elevators from the parking garage to the skybridge, from the skybridge to the first floor, and then yet another elevator to the third floor of the resort. This convoluted access was a daily inconvenience.The unit's location was also a major drawback. Being directly outside the third-floor elevator lobby, the master bedroom’s window looked directly at it, and only 75 feet from the main atrium meant constant noise.Beyond the noise and access issues, the unit itself had several maintenance problems. The entrance door needed to be forcibly slammed to latch, and the sliding glass door curtain was broken, requiring manual manipulation to close it properly. We wer

    The unit was right by the 3rd floor elevator which is very busy, it is the same floor as skywalk. It was very loud. The fee for 4 nights $441, admin fee $411, which included junk fees like a damage waiver and reservation fee. I was staying in a different unit for 11 nights and could not extend with owner, it was booked. Southern threatened to cancel me for 2 days because I just sold my house of 26 years and my current address did not match my license. You would think I was applying for a mortgage. I have the other unit 5 stars. This was the worst experience ever with Southern.
